#141 Graduation Card

***This is my 2nd post today.....Please scroll down for my Paper Playtime post***

Hi everyone! Today is a brand new challenge at ABBY's Blog and the challenge is Graduation and we were sponsored by Ka Doodle Bug Designs with some very cute SVG's. This was actually my very first time using my Sure Cuts A Lot 2 and I think I'm going to be hooked! It was very similar to using my Gypsy and yes it works in my original Cricut Expression. I embossed the background paper with my Cuttlebug using my Tim Holtz texture fades.  I added pop dots under the grad cap and diploma and sprayed all over with Gold Glimmer Mist.

I hope you are all having a wonderful holiday weekend!

Hi everyone today is Digi Monday at Paper Playtime and our theme is Wedding/or Love. I made both of my love cards with these adorable stamps from our Sponsor Karber Digital. I embossed the Queen's card with my Cuttlebug using a Tim Holtz texture fade and colored her with Bic markers and added stickles.

For my 2nd love card I printed the image a few times to do paper piecing and added stickles. The background stamp is from Market Street Stamps. Both sentiments are from Scrappy Moms Stamps.

#139 Memorial Day Blog Hop

Hi everyone welcome to the Memorial Day Blog Hop hosted by Sylvia of Bella Scrapbook Designs. If you are here from Sylvia's blog then you are in the right spot! I was super excited when Sylvia asked me to join in her wonderful hop because it's for such a great cause.......

For this hop Sylvia has asked us all to donate our  cards to this sweet 10 year old boy named STEPHEN who is trying to collect 180,000 cards to send to the troops!!! That is so amazing!! I can not believe that someone so young can make a difference, he really has me thinking about making some changes in my own life too!! Stephen if you are reading this you are truly an inspiration to us all!!

For my card I was going for a Memorial Day themed card which I had my hubby help me create it, he told me which cuts and stamps to use for my card, thanks honey!  For those of you who do not know my hubby is a Marine Veteran who served at Camp Pendleton for 5 years, and now he is working as a Government Contractor who has to deploy overseas very often; so anything military related is very close to my heart.

The cuts are from Stand and Salute which I added pop dots underneath, I stamped the sentiment with Pink By Design "Our Heroes" stamp set and embossed with my Cuttlebug.

I am so touched by Stephen's story and plan and sending him some cards. If you would like to help out by thanking our troops you can send a card Here or if you don't want to fill out all of their information  you can send your card directly to me and I would be happy to mail it out along with mine email me at critterbugg365@gmail.com for more info.  They have a sweet trip up for grabs to the winner and I would love to win a trip especially since it's not to far from my home!

Now for some blog Candy! In honor of Memorial Day I am giving away 5 cuts of your choice from the Stand and Salute Cricut cart OR  5 cuts  of your choice from the Independence Day Cricut cart.

#133 Sad doggy card

Hi everyone! I am so excited to be entering a Throwback Thursday Challenge since I haven't had much time to enter challenges lately. The challenge is to use Doodlecharms and the color blue. I've had Doodlecharms a long time and have always wanted to use this cute dog for something. I figured the My Creative time sentiment would go great with this PKS wide eyed and Bushy Tailed stamp.  I also added black & white twine and some black buttons.

#132 HK box

Hi everyone!! Today is challenge #5 for Scrapbookaholic By Abby which is to make a box or bag with Hello Kitty, the winner will receive a fabulous Hello Kitty watch!. This bag was cut from Once Upon A Princess and  HK is from Hello Kitty Font. I made this little bag to put my clear stamps in it that need to be cleaned right away. It's a much cuter way to have a spot for them before I clean them instead of just having them sit on my desk. If you would like to enter Abby's challenge click HERE.

#130-131 Friday the 13th Blog Hop

Thank you to ELSA CRICUT LVR for making this amazing blinky!!

Welcome to the Flaunt It Friday's Friday the 13th Blog Hop hosted by Sandra! This is a fun, cute and spooky hop where we will be featuring the Happy Hauntings Cricut Cart. We are so sorry that this is up way late because of problems all day posting with Blogger, and we are aware of some missing links in the hop so be sure to keep checking back when you can!

For this week's challenge we are asking you to use the HAPPY HAUNTINGS cartridge and the cut choice this week is the FRIDAY THE 13th phrase on Page 54! You can create anything you want and for an extra challenge try to challenge yourself to create something different from last week's project. If you do not own this cart feel free to use any similar cut from any cartridge, you have one week to enter the challenge.

For my first project I made a layout just for today! I have to admit I don't think I've ever took any pictures on such a spooky day! I stamped the sentiment on this Tim Holtz tag with Fired Brick Distress ink and inked it up I think it looks bloody! I also punched some borders with my MS Drippy Goo Punch. I made a little Jason doll with my Gypsy and the hockey mask I made using the Blackletter "Free" Gypsy cart and got the circles from Plantin Schoolbook. The body, gloves, ax, clothes and shoes are all from Everyday Paper Dolls. I also added some blood to the ax and used my chalks to give his clothes a dirty look. I embossed the photo mat with my woodgrain embossing folder and inked it up and added some buttons. Isn't this paper so perfect for this theme!! Luckily I found it hidden in my stash of papers and it's from Rusty Pickle. The phrase is from Happy Hauntings and I added pop dots underneath

Here's a close up  of my masterpiece LOL!
Now onto my 2nd project which is a mini album made out of coffee filters!!  My 2nd cut choice from the Happy Hauntings cart was the large pumpkin with a curly vine. All papers and embellishments are from K & Company.

The title says "Aidan's 1st Pumpkin Carving" and is filled with the "extra" pics that are leftover from my scrapbook layouts, a good way to use more pictures instead of just having them sit in a box. I used drippy goo punch for the green slime, used my branch punch around the title and embossed the pumpkin. The letter's are from Tim Holtz Typset die. I also added some stickles to the pumpkin vine and added several pieces of ribbon.

Page 2 and 3 I punched each photo mat with the cracked branch punch from Martha Stewart and also added a pumpkin border.

Page 4 and 5 I stamped all faces with Peachy Keen stamps which I used Pumpkin Faces, and Pumkin Face Assortment and Monster Faces. Yes that picture is of me and my son when he was only a 1 year old!

Page 6 and 7 I also embossed all large pumpkins with my woodgrain embossing folder in my Cuttlebug. Isn't he cute! He was so little LOL! The little owl was a piece of patterend paper that I cut out.

Page 8 and 9 here's our final pumpkins...can you guess which one was mine? I made the skull pumpkin and my hubby made the ugly man face haha! I also carved my son's little baby pumpkin!

Back cover more green slime and I also stamped both sides of all of the pumpkin tags. Here's a little pumpkin monster that I also cut from patterned paper.

I cut all tags from Sweet Treat, and all pumpkins from Create A Critter.

On this side I wrote cute pumkin poems on all of them which I found online, and did my journaling on one of them.
