#140 Baby's 1st New Year Layout

Hi everyone! I am so excited to finally get some scrapbooking done I have been super super busy the last few weeks and I'm trying to catch up lol! Here's a layout I made for Olivia's baby book I made this for our current New Year's challenge over at Cameo Creations you can use any Silhouette machine just make sure you are using an SVG, cutting pattern or anything from the Silhouette store and enter HERE for a chance to win some Lettering Delights goodies!!!!
Purchase KBD New Year Bunnies HERE you can get it for 50% off!

I made this layout using KaDoodle Bug Designs  New Year Bunnies original artwork by Kristi W. Designs. I cut her out using SCAL 3 along with my Cameo and added some Martha Stewart glitter to bling her out for the new year LOL!! The Peachy Keen Stamp I used is called PK-758 Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed 1 1/8 inch and is actually one of my favorite stamp sets to use it's very versatile as you can see I used this set for a bunny face! The title is from a pink foam glitter sticker set from Michael's that I had in my stash for a while.  The silver ribbon bow is Christmas ribbon and I also stamped the "2013" numbers using CTMH Glamour Lower Case ALphabet stamp set. Also, the beautiful pink flower with feathers is from this very talented new friend I found on Facebook she makes and sells these flowers I ordered a whole lot of them! I went a little flower crazy but hey you can never have too many flowers and plus I love using them on layouts and mini's! You can view her blog http://kayvycrafts.blogspot.com/ and order some from her she sells them much cheaper then Prima LOL and they are all so gorgeous OMG I love them!!!!

#136 Operation Superman Charity Blog Hop

Hi everyone welcome to the "Operation Superman Charity Blog Hop" hosted by ME Sandra I am hosting this hop to gather gifts to donate for a family who lost their father and also to someone who lost her husband. We are all making gifts and or Christmas cards to donate to the family, this is their first Christmas they are spending together without their dad whom everyone called "Superman". Seko "Superman" died tragically of heart failure in front of his wife and 4 young kids. We are hoping to spread some holiday cheer to this family in need.

For my first project I made Superman themed ornaments so the kids can hang on their tree. I got the Superman kids cutting pattern from the KaDoodle Bug Designs "SUPER KIDS" pattern and the Superman logo is from the Silhouette store. I cut them out using my Cameo and also added chipboard to the backs to make them sturdy and added twine to hang them on the tree.

For my 2nd project I made them a family gift to place a photo of them with their dad on his last Christmas which was last year. I made this from a canvas which is 8x10 and I altered it by using all paper products and my ATG gun to adhere. I cut the snowflake and the snowflakes border from the ART PHILOSOPHY Cricut Cartridge  and the large rosette flower along with the circle are from the  Artiste Cricut Cartridge, the "December 25th" stamp is a Cricut companion stamp to Artiste Cricut Cartridge which is called Perfect Fit- Holidays (below).

#135 Rudolph Stocking Stuffer made w/ Artiste

Hi everyone!! I made this cute Rudolph the Reindeer stocking stuffer using 100% Artiste Cricut Cartridge. The "noses" are red gummy candies I got from the Dollar Tree and the poem was a free PRINTABLE that I changed the wording and re-typed it to have a Christmas font.

The cuts I used from Artiste for the reindeer are..... card p. 42, card p. 48 (circle shape), owl p.76, Snowflake p.79. I also stamped the border on the poem using the CTMH Snowflakes stamp set with red CTMH Cranberry ink and added glossy accents to the nose. I snipped the snowflake to make the antlers this was a very easy project  to make!

Hi everyone I just wanted to share with you all this cute little poem I found at LIL' LUNA  and it's FREE! I was going to buy the original Elf on The Shelf last night at Target can you believe they were all sold out! They said they are having trouble keeping them in stock and all the storybook were out of stock too....crazy! I knew I wanted to start The Elf on The Shelf tradition today but waited to the last minute so I got this little guy from the Elf On The Shelf line and he was only $8.99 and I got this FREE poem so that's a great deal and it still serves the same purpose LOL!

My son loved his Elf and named him Jingles The Elf he liked the story except for the part where he couldn't touch the elf LOL! He told Jingles to tell Santa Claus to bring him an "Angry Birds DS game!"

Charity Blog Hop NEED Participants!

I am going to host a 3 day charity blog hop "OPERATION SUPERMAN" most likely on December 9-11th or 10-12th. I will be using the Super Kids pattern as my main focus. I was wondering if you would like to join my hop by making a Christmas gift and or card to donate with a Superman theme or ANY other Christmas gift you can think of.

I am doing this hop for a long time friend of mine. Her sons (7yr old) best friends dad died suddenly in Walmart he had a sudden cardiac death Cardiomyopathy right in front of his 4 kids in June. It's so sad. My friend Regina sad they were great family friends and everyone used to call him Superman. The kids are 11, 9, 7, and 18 months and the mom doesn't have any family nearby so my friend Regina is taking donations like gifts, etc. I guess the mom is having a hard time with his passing and having to take care of the 4 kids and still celebrate their first Christmas together without the dad.
What I am going to try to do is get at least 30-50 gifts and/or cards to send to this family.

I am looking for about 30 participants to spread out over 3 days. I will have a new giveaway every day. Please only join my hop if you can mail out the card or gift no later then December 15th. The family has no clue that my friend Regina is gathering donations for them it's a surprise!

***Please email me at critterbugg365@gmail.com if you are interested in being a participant and I will add you to the "Operation Superman Blog Hop" group on FACEBOOK!
