Here's a closeup of the bird cage and glitter. I sprayed the cage with Granite Glimmer Mist and added silver stickles to it. I Used my Zutter Distrezz it all to distress all of the edges of this card.

Here's the swirl and sentiment, I made a black paper rose with a small 1 inch flower punch and added silver stickles.

Hi everyone!! Welcome to the Red, White and Blue Blog Hop hosted by Nicolette from Beyond Scrapin if you are here from Tammy's blog then you are in the right spot. I was pretty excited to be in this hop  because I never really make anything for 4th of July usually I'm just spending the day being lazy in the sun LOL!

Here's a really simple card I made not using my Cricut at all!! For the rosette flower I used my Tim Holtz die in my Cuttlebug, and embossed the dots with my Cuttlebug also. I added a button on the rosette and some twine. This is also my #5th Scrappy Moms Stamps Sneak Peek since I am Guest Designer for them this month, the stamp is called Yankee Doodle Dandy. I also just made a 4th of July scrapbook layout 2 days ago, feel free to come check it out on  post #157.

#159 Summer Surf card

Good evening! Here's a sweet summer card I made for the Design Team over at Digital Delights by Louby Loo the stamp I chose was Surfin Pippn....isn't he cute!?! I just love all of the Pippin the Mouse stamps I'm a sucker for those huge ears LOL! I colored the stamp with my Prismacolor pencils, and added blue Stickles to the waves. I also added twine to the top corner and used some bright summer patterned paper, the patterned paper I used was perfect because it had a lot of different summer phrases  so I positioned it so it  says Summer Fun, I also ripped the paper a little for a distressed look. Be sure to mark your calendars because next week on Thursday 6/30 we are having a blog hop with everyone on the Digital Delights by Louby Loo Design Team, and Challenge Design Team I can't wait to see everyone's amazing creations!!

#158 Scrappy Moms Sneak Peek 4, Watermelon Layout and Hop Winner!!

Hi everyone I hope you all are having  a great day! I was so excited when I saw that Cooking with the Cricut was having a watermelon challenge, so I decided to make a pre-made sb page for pictures of my son eating watermelon last summer. I am so bad at getting my pictures printed out right away and I usually don't make a lot of pre-made pages, I guess I forget that you can do that LOL!

For the background paper I used Kraft cardstock along with.......Christmas Paper!!! Yep! I can't believe I  was able to pull it off! I was scared to use Christmas patterned paper  at first, but then I thought it would be genius since a watermelon is naturally green/red and white. This Christmas paper is from the American Crafts Christmas stack that I got at Tuesday morning for less then $5. The watermelon cuts are from Simply Charmed and these ants invading the page are from Kate's ABC's. The title Mmmm is from Graphically Speaking, along with American Crafts  alphabet stickers. I stamped the "Juicy" watermelon with Scrappy Moms Stamps GOOD EATS which is my 4th Sneak Peak as a Guest Designer.  which is my  faces on the melons with PKS Boy Mates, and stamped the ants eyes with PKS Everyday Paper Dolls. For a final touch I added white rick-rack and did some REAL stitching with my Sew Easy!!

I have to thank Marianne from Facebook her blog is Paper or Fabric Crafter she was so sweet and sent me a RAK which was embroidery floss for my new Sew Easy, I used a dark green color here for the stitching. Thank you so much Marianne!! That was so super nice of you, I felt like it was Christmas!! Make sure to check out her amazing talent HERE

Now onto the Cupcake Birthday Blog Hop Winner..... Becky Dunham!! Congrats Becky! Please email me at critterbugg365@gmail.com

#157 Scrappy Moms Sneak Peek 3, Uncle Sam Layout

Uncle Sam and PKS!!

Scrappy Moms Yankee Doodle Dandy New Release

Hi everyone!! I am so excited to show you all my layout, I originally made it for the Red, white and blue blog hop that I'm in this Thursday 6/23 but I thought it was so cute and I couldn't wait till Thursday lol! I am entering my layout in the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge which is to use PKS faces and with a Patriotic theme, the face I used was the Everyday Paper Doll Assortment, I only used the eyes and nose.

The Uncle Sam cut is from the Billionaire LITE cart, which I cut several times to do the layering. The cluster of stars are from the Cupcake Wrappers LITE cart, the title and Liberty bell are from the Independence Day 2010 Seasonal cart. All of the loose stars that were from the star cluster I added them to Uncle Sam's hat, and also added to the bell. The sentiment on the bell is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Yankee Doodle Dandy from their new releases, I also made my own little scroll embellishment using Kraft paper, distress ink and stamped the stars with the Yankee Doole Dandy stamp set also! I added pop dots under the mustache and the star on the bell. This was us on 4th of July last Summer it, was too hot to wear makeup that day lol!

I am a Guest Designer for Scrappy Moms Stamps this month, feel free to scroll down my previous posts to see my other sneak peek!! Have a fun day today! I will announce the Cupcake Birthday hop winner later today.

I have been experimenting a lot with my coloring lately so I decided to use this adorable digi image from The Greeting Farm Stamps and she is called "Cupcake Anya" I printed her at a wallet size on my home printer then colored her using Prismacolor pencils, I also added yellow and pink Stickles to the cupcake. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps- Sweet Somethings, I embossed the pink background with my Cuttlebug. The pink doily shape is from the Cricut LITE cart Cupcake Wrappers, I used a 3 inch Marvy Uchida punch for the cirlcle shape, and inked it up with Worn Lipstick Distress ink. I found the most perfect pink glitter ribbon in my stash that matches the cupcake and guess what......it's Christmas ribbon from Michael's that I got on clearance for .25 cents after Christmas score!!!

Hi everyone welcome to the Scrappy Moms Blog Hop!!! I am so super excited to be a Guest designer for Scrappy Moms for the month of June! Scrappy Moms stamps are celebrating their 1 Year Anniversary since they first released their awesome stamps!!

For my sweet Minnie Cutie card I used my SCAL 2 to create her! I still can't believe I was able to transform a .gif image to this SVG. I have been playing around with my Sure Cuts A Lot 2 lately and now I know what people are talking about when they say you never have to buy another cart again!! FYI- Sure Cuts A Lot 2 still works with my original Cricut Expression. I added some pop dots under Minnie and stamped the sentiment with SMS. I chose to use the Happily Ever After stamp set since this one is my all time favorite...ok I say  that all of them are my favorite but this one is special to me because it reminds me of Disneyland and I LOVE anything that has to do with Disney!!!

Here is the Happily Ever After Stamp Set that I used for my card:

#146 Disney Freak Layout!

I have been totally addicted to going to Disneyland and California Adventure, so I decided I'd start making some Disney layouts on my spare time. #145 Boys Will Be Boys Layout

***This is my 2nd post today please scroll down for the DDLL New Releases!!****

Here's a close up of my painting and helicopter!

Hi everyone! This is my 2nd post today please scroll down for the awesome new release from DDLL.

Here's a scrapbook page about my son and nephew Jacob who were being silly boys on a hot summer day. I had just bought my son some Thomas the Train underwear for potty training and they both were crying to wear them so we put them on and then they were being boys and started jumping on the sofa and dancing when they heard the Justin Bieber song "Baby" LOL! It was pretty funny!

All of the papers are from DCWV All About Boys stack. I used a border punch for the ribbon border and threaded the blue Christmas ribbon through it. I made my own chipboard pieces with a Ritz cracker box for the title and journaling spot. The helicopter is from the Boys Will Be Boys cart. I did some embossing and painting with green acrylic paint.  Also, the other funky zig zag shapes are from Gypsy Wanderings.

I am so proud to announce that I finally made an Etsy shop  after tallking about opening one for almost a year!! My shop is called DISNEY LOVER DESIGNS and I have a few things in there right now. I just added a layout pretty identical to this one. I will be specializing in lots of different things like....cards, layouts, mini albums, banners, party favors, party invites, wall decor and altered art.  Here is the link to my shop again http://www.etsy.com/people/DisneyLoverDesigns

Have a great day!

I took Aidan to Toys R Us back in November for a Thomas the Train Playdate and that's what this layout is all about. The older cart I chose was Joys Of The Season!!! I love when I can create a non-seasonal project with a seasonal cart!! The train is from JOTS and I added some black buttons as the wheels, the title is all stickers and I also did some stamping with the stars and also the "What a Day for a Daydream" sentiment.
