#80,81, 82 Imagine That Blog Hop

Gif Created on Make A Gif

Welcome to the Imagine That Blog Hop hosted by yours truly. My sweet hubby spoiled me with a Cricut Imagine that I got for a great price just 2 weeks ago. I decided to host an Imagine hop because I want to get  some ideas on what I can do with this wonderful machine. I am in love my new Cricut I did feel guilty like I was replacing my old Cricut for a newer younger model LOL! Once I started playing around with it more and more I didn't feel guilty anymore! This machine is just so cool, you can do so much with it, it's like magic! I am still amazed that it prints and cuts the item out at the same time. If you are wondering if I am going to do just all Imagine projects from now on, the answer is no because I actually have an addiction to paper!  I like the Imagine because it's so fast, on my Thursday project I made a layout in 30 minutes when they usually take me 2 or 3 hours.

For this blog hop I asked everyone to make an "Anything Goes" project and originally I was only going to be this one card but then I became addicted and was playing with my Imagine all day LOL!

For my 1st project I created this card from the Best Friends Imagine cart for the girl, sentiment and also the flower patterned paper. The marquee shape was already programed in the Best Friends cart and I just changed it to the flower paper. I also cut the green cardstock and embossed with my Create a Critter Cuttlebug Companion folder.

If you are wondering why did I use the same exact sentiment from my card it's because this was the original cut and it was way too big for a 5x5 card so I said to myself "I can't waste it!" LOL so then I decided to make an altered picture frame of me and my son Aidan on his 1st birthday in 2008.  I layered the sentiment on cereal box chipboard 3 times for some dimension and added a swirly bling this was my first time ever using swirly bling and I love it! The flower paper is also from the Best Friends cart. I print and cut ALL of my paper on Walmart's white cardstock I got it for about $5 for 150 sheets!

Now for my 3rd project I just couldn't stop at 2 since I am addicted now! I made my son a T-Shirt! wow I still can't believe I am making him clothes now and him and my hubby were so proud of me after I made this. It was so super easy! This shirt only took me 15 minutes from start to finish including all ironing! I bought this shirt at Joann's but it was actually was too big for Aidan this was a 4-6  and he is only in 3t/4t yikes...bad mommy! Oh well! I just really really wanted a black shirt for him so I got it anyways. I also purchased printable iron on transfer for dark colored fabric at Joann's. All I had to do was lay the sheet of Iron On transfer on my mat and print and cut away! The dog is also from the Best Friends cart. After it print/cut I just had to lay the dog and transfer paper on the shirt and then it was all finished!

Here is Aidan modeling his shirt right before bedtime! He actually wants to wear this shirt all the time and keeps bringing me the iron on transfer paper package and telling me more, mommy more shirt! Hmmmm maybe Provo Craft should come out with a  "T-Shirt Imagine Cart"!!

#79 Paper Flower Tutorial

Happy Friday everyone! If you are a friend on Facebook then you've probably seen this flowers that I made today. Here is my deatailed tutorial for them enjoy!
Step 1,2- Cut 8 Scallop circle shapes for each color at 2.53 in. with Gypsy. The flower is on the top left part of your Gypsy keypad Shift/Shadow key functions. I got 12 flowers total on one 8.5x11 inch white cardstock. To make all 6 flowers I needed 3 total sheets of white cardstock. Ink around the edges.

Step 3- Spray all flowers with water and rub the water all over the flower, you want it to be very damp.

Step 4- Crumble like trash!

Step 5- Uncrumble and lay flat.

Step 6- Stack all 8 flowers on top of eachother.

Step 7- Punch a hole with Crop A Dile, I punched all 8 at the same time

Step 8- Place any color brad in center, you won't actually see the brad in the end.

Step 9-Crumble each flower layer upwards around the brad.

Step 10- After crumbling all layers upwards around brad it should look like this, then "Smoosh" it all together in your hands to look like this.

Step 11- Spray with Glimmer Mist, Let dry for 5 Minutes!!

Step 12-  Time for the flower to Bloom! Uncrumble as many layers as you want slowly. The Glimmer mist should be dry but the flower will still be damp from the water.

Here's a side view of the the flower.

The flower is over an inch in height

Products I used Crop A Dile, Accent Essentials, spray bottle of water

Glimmer Mist and Dew Drop inks. For the black & blue flowers I used Irredecient Gold, Pink flower Vanilla Breeze, purple flower Pearl, brown flower coffee shop, yellow flower Yellow Daisy Glimmer Mist.

I have been having so much fun making flowers and I promise to post more flower tutorials for you!

Be sure to stop by my blog tomorrow morning for the Cricut Imagine Blog Hop I am hosting called "Imagine That blog Hop"

Good morning everyone! Here's a layout I made completely with my Cricut Imagine! All 4 pieces of patterned paper, the hearts, bear, and title are from the Better Together cartridge. The banner on top left is from Imagine More. This was super fast and easy for me I think it took me about 30 minutes from start to finish and that's fast for me because my layout usually take me 2 or 3 hours to make! I also added a border from my MS lace punch and some pink pearls. I follwed the sketch bellow for the SASSY LIL SKETCHES MARCH 14TH CHALLENGE, also entering PAPER CUTZ anything goes challenge.

#77 I'm All Ears Bunny Card

Hi everyone! Today is Design Team Day at Digital Delights by Louby Lou and the stamps I chose to use are Barnaby Bunny Topper and Kids Sentiments Set. I embossed the background paper with my Cuttlebug, and cut the egg and grass from the EASTER 2010 Seasonal Cricut cartridge. I colored Barnaby Bunny and the sentiment with Prismacolor pencils. Be sure to come check out all of the amazing stamps HERE!!

#76 Yankees Card

Hi everyone here's a fun card I made for a Cutom order, my customer asked for a Yankees Birthday card and I first I had no idea what I was going to do especially since I know nothing about sports LOL! Then a lightbulb finally went off in my head and I thought "Yankees Logo"!! I am so glad that lightbulb went off because now I know what to make when I need Masculine cards, I can't make logo cards of their favorite sports teams.

The baseball is from the new Life's A Party cart I love that cart there's so much on it! The hat is from Stand and Salute and the baseball bat is fromn Everyday Paper Dolls, I made this a few weeks ago and I am so sorry but I do not remember which cart this font is from.

Here what I found online when the lightbulb went off LOL! My Inspiration:

Congrats L.B.! Please contact me at critterbugg365@gmail.com to claim your prize.

Now onto my layout, if you are also a friend or fan of me on Facebook today I asked everyone which cart would you like me to use today and I had a huge response for Simply Charmed!

I have been working on my 2010 scrapbook album eventhough I haven't even started on 2008 or 2009 LOL! Sometimes I don't want to go in order and I like to just jump ahead to the present! These photos are about my hubby's 28th b-day last June 10th he didn't want to have a birthday party or get together but I forced him, it was a very spontaneous thing for me I told him that day while he was at work that I was going to make him Greek food and bake a cake this was my first "Fancy" cake LOL! We normally buy the cakes from Target they have some yummy cakes at Target in the bakery!

I used all DCVW papers and the cartridge I used was Simply Charmed, and  http://www.peachykeenstamps.com/ Happy New Year and Simple Simons. I used Simply Charmed for the blow horn, confetti, balloon, circle and sentiment. I used my EK border punch for the borders and Pink By Design "WISH BIG" stamp which I stamped repeatedly for a border.

For my layout I used this sketch from STUCK ON U SKETCHES

I am also entering in FANTABULOUS CRICUT "Happy Birthday" theme.
THROWBACK THURSDAY Use green with an older cart/ I chose Simply Charmed

Have a great day and be sure to make your calendars for this Saturday 3/26 "Imagine That" Blog Hop hosted by Me! .....A blog hop all about the Cricut Imagine...

#73 Birthday Bash Bunny Hop

Hello everyone welcome to the Flaunt It Friday's Birthday Bash Bunny Blog Hop hosted by yours truly! If you are here from FLAUNT IT FRIDAY'S then you are in the right spot. This hop is all about the Birthday Bash Cricut cart and different ways and cuts that can be used.  For this week's challenge we are flaunting the Bunny w/ present from Birthday Bash, and you will see a 2nd project from everyone that is anything goes. Here is how I flaunted it!!

For my bunny I wanted it took look like a trendy teenager or young person type of bunny so that's why I chose the Black/white/pink color scheme. I stamped the face with PKS critter faces with white pigment ink, then I went over it with a white gel pen to make it pop. The sentiment is from Pink By design. I also added a button, black embroidery floss and a border from EK Success.

For my 2nd project I chose to flaunt the juggling clown Beaver from Birthday Bash, I originally cut out the balls that come with it but I totally forgot to glue them on the card and thought hey it even looks good without them....sometimes things just work out a different way lol! I embossed the large dots with a Quick Kutz folder in my Cuttlebug and stamped the sentiment, and stamped the face with Peacky Keen Stamps.  The green border strip is a strip of patterened paper it looks a lot like ribbon huh!?! I am also giving away a set of stamps like the one I used on the Beaver check below....

Now for some blog candy! Peachy Keen Stamps is sponsoring with one Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed Assortment! Please be sure to leave a comment on all of the blogs to be eligible! For a second chance at winning be sure to link your Birthday Bash Bunny project to the Flaunt It Friday's challenge this weekend! I will chose a Random winner on Monday!
