Now onto my projects..... I decided to make a birthday card for Alex along with a birthday present which is a layout I made just for her special event today!
Isn't this the cutest funniest looking animal on the planet!?! I love him! I cut him from Birthday Bash and stamped the eyes with Peachy Keen Stamps. I hand cut the tag and stamped the Party Animal sentiment from Pink By Design Stamps. I added some stickles and some ribbon to the card. I also cut the actual card base from Birthday Bash too.
Here is a layout I made for alex since I know us ladies will be taking plenty of pics at our Meet and Greet. I also used Birthday Bash for the 2 birds, title and banner. I used 2 different MS punches to create the borders and added some ribbon to the swirly border. I also did some embossing with my Cuttlebug, inking and i added stickles to the birds and banner and some bling "eye" to the bottom bird and put a larger blue piece of bling to the top birds hat. Oh and I also stamped the face with Peachy Keen Stamps.
Now onto some Blog Candy! When you've had as many birthday's as me, it's hard to pick a favorite memory. Growing up on the Florida Gulf Coast & having a b'day in Sept. led to many a stormy & hurricane filled birthdays. One time it was 3 yrs. in a row,(not that this is a favorite memory, just memorable.)

Cute cards!! Thanks for shaing them. My fav birthday memory is when my hubby and daughter woke me up with breakfast in bed. Then I slept in for a couple of more hours and woke up to cake, ice cream and LOTS of flowers and the perfect gift of a family photo session. It was an awesome day. Have a great day!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite bday memory was last yr. We decided last minute to go to Disney World driving (24 hrs)so we could spend New Years and my Bday there!! I am such a Disney freak this was perfect. Usually I run the show and everything is so planned its exhausting, but this trip we just winged it and it was so special. Mickey gave me a special bday hug ad kissed my hand..I was 5 again lol

What an adorable layout and card! That anteater is just too cute for words! I've had a lot of birthdays...but one of my favorite memories was when I turned 30. All my co-workers plastered the school with big black 30s, there was a bouquet of black, dead roses on my desk and all the staff (and some of the students) were dressed in black. After work, they took me out to party-hearty--the bartender had even developed a *Black* cocktail in my honor. Thanks for sharing--I always enjoy your blog! My best birthday memory was the year 2000 and I was waiting for my friend to meet me and we were going to go to a movie and When we got to the theater my sister was there and most of my family and they took me to a nice resturaunt and we had such a good time and I have never forgot what a surprize it was!!! Great projects! I love Birthday Bash! My favorite birthday memory is the trip I took to Disney World with dh and dd a few years back. Dd was 3 at the time and it was her first trip. it was magical!
