#233 Christmas is for the Kids Banner Blog Hop

***Click HERE for the Thanksgiving Blog Hop****

Hi everyone welcome to the Christmas is for kids Banner blog hop hosted by  Ellen of http://cardmonkey-business.blogspot.com/ if you are here from  http://www.kinderstampo.com/ you are in the right spot! This hop is all about banner's that we will be donating to a children's hospital that Ellen works at.

For my banner I made a banner full of gingerbread people holding hands and gingerbread houses. I stamped their faces  with Peachy Keen Stamps and added buttons  since I couldn't add real candy LOL!

I cut the gingerbread people and gingerbread houses using the Gingerbread seasonal Cricut Cartridge at 6 inches each. I used my Crop a Dile to punch holes and added red/white twine to hold them together.

Here's what the banner looks completeted. Be sure to click on the pic for a closer view, since banners are hard to photograph!

  2. Hi Sandra! I KNEW I'd love this banner once I got to see the whole thing ... I have a passion for gingerbread people. They bring so many smiles!!! Thank you for getting your post up; I am sorry it was late and that I had to ask some hoppers to jump over you -- I understand, really I do -- and hope it doesn't cause you too much grief. I LOVE your work, and am so happy to have you in my Hops, any time.

One quickie correction to your post, if you don't mind: you're supposed to link to Bobbi Jo at http://sweetsassydiva.com. Instead, you have it as Cher. Unfortunately, Cher doesn't have a post up and is one of the ones I had to ask be deleted from the line up. Could you correct this if you have a chance?

THANK YOU again ... may you be blessed for your many kindnesses.

    Fondly,
    Ellen ♥ CardMonkey

  27. I'm not normally into the banners, but this one is one that caught my eye immediately. I have this cartridge so I may have to make a banner for myself. My favorite food for Thanksgiving is of course the turkey and dressing. Hope you have a great holiday.
