#182 Day 2 of Birds and Birdcages Blog Hop today!



 
Hi everyone! Welcome to Day 2 of the Birds and Birdcages blog Hop hosted by yours truly! In case you missed yesterday's post be sure to click HERE to see my scrapbook layout!
 
For today's project I decided to make something completely different and get a head start on Halloween cards!!

For my card I was going for a bloody birdcage look LOL! The bloody birdcage/ AKA frame is from the Happy Hauntings cart, the owl with branch is from the October 31st cart. I stamped the face with PKS Bird Faces and More and colored her eyes red...spooky!! I also stamped the sentiment with Scrappy Moms Halloween Stamps.

Blog Candy!! I am giving away 1- Peachy Keen stamps Bird Faces and More stamp set!!! It's the same exact stamp set I used for today's project!

    Great job on the spooky feel for this card. The frame works perfect for this design, I like the dripping blood!     This white owl is much too pretty to be kept in a bloody cage, even at Halloween! LOL I think you achieved the desired effect though. Great job!

    Sandra, this is so awesome! You are getting so incredibly creative. It's amazing! I would never think to do a card like that. I love it! Halloween is my favorite. I'm making a ton of invitations for my friend's party so I love getting some new ideas. This is just awesome. I feel so bad... I am just now going through the hop and it's 11:00 PM almost on the 2nd day of the hop. :( I'm going to go through every single post if it kills me! LOL Thanks for putting this on. I'm so glad to be included. :0)
