Hi everyone, welcome to the I Love My Teacher Blog Hop hosted by Abby if you are here from Michelle Scrappin With My Bug then you are in the right spot! This hop is going to be great there are so many prizes up for grabs so be sure you check out all of the stops you don't want to miss a thing!
For my project I had such a hard time figuring out what to make especially since my son isn't in school yet and I haven't been to school in a very long time! Well after searching through my Cricut carts and doing many google and blog searches I was still searching to get inspired. Then I came across this teacher website and BOOM!!! I found my inspiration...hello CAR DECALS cart here I come LOL!! I was super excited when I found that picture it's like it just fell into my hands tonight at 10:30pm...talk about waiting to the last minute right girls LOL!
So for my teacher card I used the Car Decals cart and found this cute little guy that actually looks a lot like my 11th grade math teacher he was a short lil' guy with glasses and white hair, I remember him being so sweet like a great grandparent and he was so patient! I had such a hard time with math in H.S. and failed Algebra and got a D in Geometry and then finally I got into this glass in 11th grade called Business Math and it was a perfect fit for me!! I don't remember my teachers name but I remember he was a cool teacher, so thanks teacher!! I got the apple from the Locker Talk cart, which was free with my Cricut rewards, created my own stamp sentiment and did faux stitching. I was going for a chalk board look.
Blog Candy! I am giving away this Me and my big Ideas glitter school sticker set to one lucky follower, just leave me a comment about one of your fav teachers! I will choose a winner on Monday!
NEXT STOP is THE SCRAPBOOKING QUEEN
well you accomplished the chalk board look very well! hes a cute kittle guy....i think I NEED that cart lol
ReplyDeleteReally cute! The car decal is perfect!
ReplyDeleteCute. I've been a follower of your blog for awhile. My fav teacher was a college professor, Dr. Caron. I had him for Pre-Calculus I, Pre-Calculus II, Calculus I, Calculus II, Calculus III, Sttistics & Metrics I and Statistics & Probability I. I liked his teaching enough to always take his 8am classes even one during a Summer quarter (we were on the quarter system which was 10 wks and he was the only teacher that I did not mind the 10 wks with others 10 wks was long enough).

ReplyDeleteMy favorite teacher was Mrs. Wilson. I had her for Algebra and Trig in high-school and then several years later (when I went back to college after teaching 2 years) I had her for college trig. I signed up yesterday to take the OSAT to teach math in the middle school level. I got a lot of reviewing to do between now and Sept. 17. :)
