Hi everyone today is Design Team day at Digital Delights by Louby Loo and the stamp I used was this cute bear from the Baking Bears Set. I thought I would try a new technique which is Paper Piecing I have never tried this and I love it! If you are wondering what Paper piecing is I printed this digi stamp on 6 different colors of cardstock and cut each layer out with my scissors and glued all of the pieces together on the brown bear with my Zig glue pen. I also punched the border with my apron lace punch. I left the sentiment blank that way I could always go back and stamp any sentiment for whatever occassion I need it for like birthday, just because, thank you, etc. I hope you can come check out the rest of the DT's amazing projects HERE. Have a good night and be sure to stop by my blog tomorrow for an all new project.
P.S. Don't forget to enter the Flaunt It Friday's Cindy Loo Cricut Challenge for a chance to win a Joy's Life Lot's of Pun Stamp set! Only one more day left!
Paper piercing? Are you serious?! Isn't that why we have a CRICUT, so we don't use scissors! Traderrrrrrrrrrrr! Grrr. Just hand over the cricut. I'll send you over my 1990s scissors. Lol. :)
ReplyDeleteI really like it! I especially love that border punch!
Toodles!
I have been hearing about this paper piercing a lot lately and had no idea what it was and felt kinda silly asking. Thanks so much for clearing it up for me. The really funny part is that I have done it thousands of times in the past before my cricut and never knew it actually had a name :P
