Happy New Year everyone! today is Friday and you know what that means....time for everyone to "Flaunt" their Cricut Carts over at my new challenge blog http://flauntitfridays.blogspot.com/. For those of you who are new to my blog welcome! At Flaunt it Friday's we have a new Cricut cart that we will be featuring every week and you have one week to complete the project. This week we are flaunting the Martini on Page 60 from the "From My Kitchen" Cartridge, if you do not own this cart feel free to use a similar cut from any cart.
For my card I used some black glitter paper...it was really hard to work with this type of material because I have actually never used it before....yes I am a Hoarder of all things scrapbooking related I have so much untouched stuff its sad....well at least that could be one of my New Year's Resolutions to use up my stuff I already own! I cut the Martini and cherry from FMY, the cherry was actually supposed to be an olive. I added stickles to the cherry and black bling to the "Pimp Cup" LOL! And I stamped the most perfect sentiment to go along with my Martini, the stamp is from Pink By Design. I inked the edges of the sentiment with pink distress ink, and added a strip of sequin ribbon. I hope you all can play along this week with us especially since we having a GIVE AWAY sponsored by our fabulous Dorcas 4 Crafty Angels!
Please make sure you check back tonight at 7pm and Midnight PST for 2 amazing blog hops that I will be in including some blog candy! Have a safe and Happy New Year and may all of your dreams and wishes come true in 2011!

ReplyDeleteWhat am I thankful for in the year of 2010 is that my husband actually pulled through a cervical spine surgery where the surgeon put a plate with 10 screws from C3 - C7 to fuse his neck together after an injury at work. He has been out of work to whole year. He just went back to work. So I am very grateful to have him no longer in pain and that he actually survived the surgery, that I really thought he wasn't going to come out of it alive. I love him dearly.
Super cute! I can't wait to make mine for the challenge!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your card. Totally has a rockin feel to it. I love the way you put the bling on the glass. The picture of you with your son is beautiful, you look soooo pretty and he is just adorable.
ReplyDeleteMuch love and happiness in the New Year!!!
Hugs,
Stephanie
