#23 Project Life Week 3

Warning picture heavy LOL!

Here's both of my pages side by side I spent a lot of time creating these 2 pages that's why I posted so many pics LOL! This week was jammed packed with stuff we were busy. 

I just had to take a pic of the trash truck because I was thinking of how much they've changed since I was a kid they were brown. Gas is super expensive again and has actually risen .30 cents since I took this picture! I started doing Weight Watcher's this week and going to the gym 6 days a week. I cut up the Smart One's box which had some weight loss tips. My baby girl loves her bananas and we went to an arcade that's why there's a ticket stub stapled to the pic. I got some free printable's from the Becky Higgins site along with Ali Edwards free handwriting font picture below.

I watched the Inauguration of President Obama Parade Live on Tv and took some pics of my Tv! It was pretty cool seeing history like that I never even knew there were presidential parades (I'm not a political person at all). I thought the Valentine's Day display was super cute because of Mickey and I also bought my kids this Elmo play kitchen and had to assemble it myself since my hubby is deployed.

Here I did a flip up page and placed the instructions to the play kitchen with a paper clip. I added wood chips and stamped the sentiments, arrows  and added several washi tapes.

 I used a few different stickers here and also placed my son's Martin Luther King Jr. book from Kindergarten in here and stamped the date on it and added washi to the side.

#136 Operation Superman Charity Blog Hop

Hi everyone welcome to the "Operation Superman Charity Blog Hop" hosted by ME Sandra I am hosting this hop to gather gifts to donate for a family who lost their father and also to someone who lost her husband. We are all making gifts and or Christmas cards to donate to the family, this is their first Christmas they are spending together without their dad whom everyone called "Superman". Seko "Superman" died tragically of heart failure in front of his wife and 4 young kids. We are hoping to spread some holiday cheer to this family in need.

For my first project I made Superman themed ornaments so the kids can hang on their tree. I got the Superman kids cutting pattern from the KaDoodle Bug Designs "SUPER KIDS" pattern and the Superman logo is from the Silhouette store. I cut them out using my Cameo and also added chipboard to the backs to make them sturdy and added twine to hang them on the tree.

For my 2nd project I made them a family gift to place a photo of them with their dad on his last Christmas which was last year. I made this from a canvas which is 8x10 and I altered it by using all paper products and my ATG gun to adhere. I cut the snowflake and the snowflakes border from the ART PHILOSOPHY Cricut Cartridge  and the large rosette flower along with the circle are from the  Artiste Cricut Cartridge, the "December 25th" stamp is a Cricut companion stamp to Artiste Cricut Cartridge which is called Perfect Fit- Holidays (below).

#134 Christmas Cocoa Layout and EXCITING NEWS!

Hi everyone here's another Christmas layout I made. This year I am making a "25 Days of Christmas" scrapbook album where I plan on doing 25 different Christmas activities with my family so far this is what we did......
1.  Decorate our Christmas Tree
2. Elf on The Shelf
3. Christmas Time at the mall..... they had a big giant tree and also faux snow!
4. Took pictures of my dogs in Santa and Reindeer costumes!
5. I made homemade Christmas cocoa

So far I'm ahead of schedule LOL! And today I jut bought the Classic Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer movie for my son and of course I had to get a picture of him holding it LOL so expect a Rudolph layout soon!

Onto my project.........
For my Christmas Cocoa layout I cut the moose, cocoa mug and marshmallows all from KaDoodle Bug Designs Moose-alicious Smores and Cocoa pattern original artwork by Kristi W. Designs. I used my SCAL 3 and Silhouette Cameo for them along with the font. I used my Cricut to cut the circle and scallop shape with my Artiste Cricut cartridge and stamped on both of them using CTMH Cricut companion stamps Perfect Fit Frames and Perfect Fit -Holidays Stamp Set. I also added CTMH ribbon, bling and I also embossed the cocoa mug with my Cuttlebug. I stamped the "Cocoa Warms The Heart" sentiment using Scrappy Moms "Winter Wishes" Stamp Set.

For my card I used the CTMH Clementine Paper Pack along with my Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge for the leaves. I stamped both of the leaves with the Art Philosophy Companion stamp set that comes bundled together when you purchase Art Philosophy. The sentiment I used is called "A Friend Like You" stamp set. I stamped everything using the Chocolate Exclusive Ink, the bling is MOcha Adhesive Gems that come with 3 different colors in each pack. I also embossed the background paper with my Cuttlebug.

#89 Bat Card

Hi everyone! I made this card to show you another idea on how to use the CTMH August Stamp of the Month Baroque Borders you can get this stamp set for only $5 when you make a purchase of $50 or more. This set is so beautiful and pretty large at 6x6 inches of stamps! I did some stamping and inking and cut the rosette and label using my Artiste Cricut Cartridge. For my project I made 2 Halloween Treat Holders that hold full size chocolate candy bars Mmmmmm!

I stamped both treat bags using the It's Your Day Stamp Set and I used the Cricut companion stamp sets for the Halloween Sentiments MAGIC POTIONS and the Artiste Cricut cartridge to cut the treat bags out with my Cricut. The owl is from Noah's ABC's cartridge and the toad is from Mini Monster's Cricut cartridge.

#81 Mojo Monday Sketch Card

Hi everyone! Here's a card I made for the Mojo Monday Sketch challenge. I used the CTMH Avonlea Paper Packet along with Cricut Artiste, the hi stamp and the small flower stamps are also from the Cricut Companion Stamp set.  I did some inking around the edges using the CTMH Chocolate Ink and added some Chocolate Twine and the bling pearls on the left side are from the  CTMH Opaques Mocha Adhesive Gems.

Hi everyone today is a brand new Cameo Creations Challenge and this week we are using a sketch you can view it here. #76 Rainbow Party Blog Hop Chevron Set

Hi everyone welcome to the Rainbow Party Blog Hop hosted by Candace if you are here from Melissa's Blog then you are in the right spot. This is going to be a fun rainbow party because we are celebrating Candace's daughters birthdays.... happy birthday girls!

For my project I made a rainbow chevron matching gift set. I used my CTMH Artiste Cricut Cartridge for the treat box and for the banner cut and stamped it using my cricut companion stamp that came with the Artiste cartridge. I stamped the chevrons several times with different inks to make it into a rainbow. I also added some pink twine on the sides of the candy box, I closed the candy box shut using repositional adhesive so it's ready to go when I need a birthday set. I went to so many birthday parties last month that I don't have any more birthday cards on hand can you believe that and here I had so many in my stash lol! I used the chevron stamp from the NEW release It's Your Day stamp set from the CTMH Campaign we have going on right now you can get this stamp set for only $5 when you spend $35 in my Close To My Heart store. This set is awesome because it comes with 2- 6x6 stamp sets that are also Cricut Companion Stamps to the Artiste cartridge.... meaning this stamps will fit along perfectly with the images that are on the Artise cart.

#73, 74 Birthday Purse Set

Hi everyone I hope you all had a great weekend, I sure did I got to go to the beach 2 days in a row! I was pretty happy because I love going to the beach and plus I caught some pretty good waves yesterday on my boogie board! I love boogie boarding especially when I'm really far out in the water and the waves bring me all the way to the sand, it's so fun!

For today's project I made a purse birthday gift set for my mom's b-day coming up using the CTMH Artiste Cricut Cartridge and this months Stamp of the Month "Baraoque Borders" which you can get for only $5 HERE!!! I also used a pearl from the Opaques Mocha Adhesive Gems and placed velcro on the inside flap of the purse. This purse is really cute because it has an outside pocket and that's where I put some tulle. I stamped the entire outside pocket and the entire card with the Baroque Borders Stamp Set and placed black tulle all over the card. The banner cut is from Artiste along with the coordinating Happy Birthday stamp from the Artiste Collection.

I love this cartridge especially because there are so many stamps that go exactly with the cartridge and you don't have to cut anything out by hand you just use the same measurements that are posted on each stamp set.
