#23 Dog Tag/Bookmark

Hi Everyone!! I hope you all are excited because it's now officially the weekend woo-hoo! This week at Flaunt It Friday's we are asking you to make something with the PAPER PUPS cartridge and the cut choice this week Paper Pups Border Feature Dog & Cat page 104 from your handbook. So I decided to make a Tag/Bookmark I haven't decided yet I am glad I have options LOL! For the tag base I cut it from Sweet Treats, and the dog and cat are from Paper Pups. The paper is from K & Co. V-day paper stack and the flower is a Prima flower. I found the most PERFECT sentiment it says...." If you obey all the Rules, You miss all the Fun"-Katherine Hepburn  isn't that perfect for the dog and cat? Please be sure to join in on the challenge because this is the last week to win the Birthday Bash cartridge sponsored by one of our very own designer's Stephanie Always Crafting thank you Stephanie!

Please be sure to check back later today for the Celebrating Our Milestone's Blog Hop hosted by Yolie from Just Yolie you won't want to miss it! I made a very awesome -time consuming project but it was worth it!!

#20 Dog Walk Layout

Hello everyone I hope you all are having a great weekend! I am because I am motivated to get some layouts done finally since I am falling way behind lol! Here's a layout I made about me and my Pomeranian dog Blackie. He was my first baby lol! His 6th b-day is coming up on Feb. 3rd I just can't believe I've had him in my life almost 6 years. These photos were taken in 2005. Blackie would always look at me like he was telling me he wanted to go for a walk. We are so perfect together because we read eachother's mind lol! He is just too funny he acts like a stuck up dog and prances around all day like he is a model or something. He really knows how to make my hubby mad hahaha!

The other night at Michael's they had all of these American Craft's paper stacks on clearance for $6.99 so I used my new paper for this LO. Here's a list of the carts I used:
Boys Will Be Boys- Walk
Slumber Party LITE- please
Wild Card- Green Frame
Songbird-Flowers
Playtime LITE-Girl w/dog
Paper Pups-Dog Tail, Bone

I used my EK paw print border punch for the border, I added some pearls and eyelets to the circle parts of the paper, also added brads and did some inking to the flowers. I finally got the Exclusive Cricut LITE Playtime cartridge on ebay earlier this week and I was so excited because I think I got it at a very reasonable price, and I stamped her face with PKS. I stamped the bone with Pink By Design stamps. I've decided that I will start taking pics of my journaling areas so you guys can get ideas on what to say when you do your journaling on your LO's. For the longest time I would never do journaling, but I just kept thinking about how my kids, grand kids, and great grandkids will appreciate the journaling. I know I don't have the nicest handwriting, but hey I get too lazy to go type it up on the computer and print it out lol!

#175 My Hippie card for DT Day at Inking it Up Crazy

Here's my embossing, inking and stickles work!
Hello everyone!! I just wanted to share with  you my Hippie inspired free love card LOL! I normally don't make stuff like this, I have really been wanted to do a mushroom card but I never knew what sentiment to put on it.....hello!! "Thanks" of course! I guess the light bulb finally went on in my head LOL!The mushrooms were cut from Freshly Picked I embossed with my cuttlebug, inked the edges and put a pop dot under the small shroom. The frogs and snail were from Paisley I chose to cut them out without all of the layers and I doodled on the snail and stamped with a PK stamp, I also put stickles on the frogs crowon on top left. The clouds and the circle/ring are from Paper Pups. For the clouds I stamped some of them and put Distress ink on some of them. I stamped the sentiment I thought it was perfect because there are "Many" frogs on my card. I also put Fired Brick (red) Distress ink on the outer edges. This card really reminded me of when I used to go to Haight and Ashbury (random pic online) when I lived in the San Francisco Bay area, yep the whole town looked like this! Please be sure to come and check out the other designers at Inking it Up Crazy.
