Hi everyone welcome to the Summer Halloween Blog Hop hosted by ABBY if  you are here from Raven LOVE 4 STAMPS then you are in the right spot!  I was so excited to be in this hop because I am so ready for Fall and Halloween to be here and to start making Halloween projects all the time LOL!!! I like to make anything from Cutesy to really scary, creepy Halloween stuff so be sure to check out my blog from now until Halloween for some SPOOKY inspiration!!!

For my Halloween card I knew I wanted to make something with a witch on it, so I busted out my all time #1 favorite cart.... Paper Doll Dress up Cricut cart! I got the witch along with her accerories and the witches brew pot from that cart. I stamped her face with Peachy Keen Stamps- Retro Faces, and the pot with PKS Monster faces.  I added bling to her hat with my i-rock and added green Stickles on her hair. I stamped the sentiment with CRAFTY SPROUTS Monster Kisses Stamps and then embossed in my Cuttlebug. I made a green slimey border with my MS Drippy Goo punch and added ribbon and buttons. I found this awesome sketch from Peachy keen Stamps Tuesday Sketch

For this week's challenge we are flaunting the Paper Doll Dress Up Cartridge and the cuts are Ragedy Ann/ and or Andy on Page 36 and Page 37 of the handbook.

I made a layout with Ragedy Ann and Andy the title says " I love My Cousin Na-Yee (AKA Natalie)"

***Remember you can always click on the picture to zoom in =)***

Aren't they cute!?! The large circle cuts are from my free Gypsy cartridge Printing Press. The font is from Hello Kitty Font, the star border is also from Paper Doll Dress Up. I did some stamping and I also stamped their faces with PKS Rag Doll and Teddy Face Assortment. The ticket stamp is a digi stamp from Digital Delights by Louby Loo. The picture is my son and his cousin Natalie, he always calls her "NA-YEE" so that's where I got the title from. (My second picture didn't look right to me so I will have to re-print a different photo)He is so sweet to her like a big brother always watching out for her. I took these pics of them last May and I told my sister Joanna that I want to make a Ragedy Ann and Andy layout about them holding hands! I finally did it yippee!!

Now onto my 2nd super secret bonus Paper Doll project!!
I made a mini album/autograph book! I made this because my hubby and I invested in Disneyland/California Adventure annual passes recently and it was worth every penny!! I am now a Disney Addict!! I made this autograph book from a 6x6 chipboard album I bought from Michael's $1 bin. The CASTLE is from Paper Doll Dress Up. The title is chipboard letters from We R Memory Keepers. I bought the Mickey Keychain at Disneyland. I painted all the edges with black acrylic paint. I didn't really want to go all out on this mini with too many details that way the characters have room to sign their autograph's and plus this is for my 3 year old son! Never trust a 3 year old lol!!

All of the Mickey cuts on every page are from the Mickey & Friends cartridge. I cut them on DCVW black glitter paper. I didn't want to mess with all of those teeny-tiny Disney layers! I got the Disney background paper from Joann's and I only needed 2 complete 12x12 sheets of paper to make this!

For the back cover I left it simple with a smaller Mickey Mouse head. This entire mini album/autograph book only cost me $1.50 to make! With the Key Chain it cost $5.50! My hubby wanted to buy a $12 one at Disneyland for our son and I yelled at him and said I can make that for less than $3! and I did and I think it looks better then the ones at the park. Now we just need to hunt down all the characters at D-Land!!

Blog CANDY--- I am giving away this ME and  MY BIG IDEAS 8x8 Love/Wedding page kit to one lucky follower just leave me a comment here!

Please make sure you leave comments on all of the blogs for a chance to win the Grand Prize give away on Janis's blog which is the  WIDE EYED KIDS ASSORTMENT sponsored by Peachy Keen Stamps.

Ooooooh Bling and Candy Yummy!

Pink By Design Stamps!

Inspired By Food Network Magazine!!!!!!

Here's the bling I used for my i-rock

Hi ladies it's FRIDAY!! That means time for an all new challenge at Flaunt It Friday's this week we are all Flaunting our Paper Doll Dress Up cart and the cut we chose this week is the SLEIGH on Page 74. You will have one whole week to enter your project to our challenge. Please make sure you stop by the Flaunt It Friday's blog to see an important announcement!

I am so excited that I reached another milestone....nope I didn't have a 30th or 40th birthday I reached 200 cricut projects! That is huge since my blog is 365 Days of Cricut, I am just shy of 165 projects oh well LOL! At least I still have a few more weeks left until the new year.

Now onto my project: When I bought my Food Network mag I saw this ad for the candy with the sleigh and I though hey I could do that so I did! The Sleigh is from PDDU, I cut it 2 on a cereal box chipboard, then cut 2 more on brown cardstock. I used my Gypsy to help my flip them. I cut the sleigh at 6 inches. Then I cut another cereal box chipoard to 3inches x 4.25 inches this piece will hold the candy. I was only able to fit 4 candies on it and I adhered with glue dots and overlapped them. It was really hard to glue the sleighs together because once I added candy it made the sleigh fat! So I tried Elmer's glue, my ATG gun....and finally pop dots!! Yep pop dots worked the best for the outer edges. I then added bling with my i-rock. I used some metallic bling which I have pictured above since I had questions about them last time I used them. I got the bottle at M's. I added some gold ribbon, and stamp the back side with Pink By Design Stamps 'A Taste of Christmas' and a To/From Stamp.

Please make sure you come by later this evening I will be in a 2 Day Blog Hop called Jolly Holly Hop and it will start at 730pm EST there will be awesome GIVEAWAY'S on BOTH days!

Now for our first ever challenge at Flaunt It Friday's we a "Flaunting" the WINTER FROLIC cartridge and the image is the SNOWMAN on PAGE 29 you will have one week to enter your project to Flaunt It Friday's

Just look at her makeup she is definately having fun!

For my first project I used the Winter Frolic cart for the snow"lady" and cut the boots from Paper Doll Dress Up, the Talk bubble is from Gypsy Wanderings. I had a vision for this card I wanted her to look like she was having fun playing dress up, the whole time I was creating her I kept singing "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" yep, now I have that song stuck in my head LOL!I stamped her face with Peachy Keen Stamps Winter Faces and put some makeup on her! She has to have the best glittery winter clothes and accessories so I put some pink Stickles on her ear muffs, scarf, and her snow boots. I also stamped the sent. in the talk bubble, did some inking, faux stitching and added some bling with my i-rock. Now onto my Winter Frolic Bonus project a Penguin Candy Cane Holder:
Here's how I attached the candy cane

This year I decided to actually dress up my candy canes before I give them out to people. I also cut the penguin from Winter Frolic, I cut him at 4 inches with my Gypsy. I was going to use my PKS here but I really wanted the yellow beak to be seperate so I cheated and used googly eyes, I think kids will enjoy the googlies LOL! I attached the back piece cutting a small strip that is 2 1/2inches x 1/2 inches and the candy cane fits perfectly this was super easy and fun to make and I think it's a perfect cut because the penguin is actually holding candy!

#179 Santa's Elf Layout

Good evening everyone! I feel like I haven't done a layout in forever. Here's a layout I did of my son when he was exactly 2 months old back in '07 I can't believe it was that long ago! I feel like I went all out on this page it took me hours but worth it I love the way it came out. I was inspired by his little outfit that says "Santa's Little Elf" I stamped the sentiment and added stickles to it, I stamped the vintage Santa on the upper right, I stamped the flourishes and also the "Christmas Memories" sentiment, I also stamped the face with a PK stamp on the doll from Paper Doll Dress Up. The present border was from Winter Frolic I also added stickles to them, I did some hand stitching under the presents and also used my punches for the 2 borders. The snowflake border on the bottom is from patterned paper. The scallop oval that I embossed and inked with my cuttlebug is from ACY, the circle scallop where my son's pic is is from AE. I also did some inking with my Fired Brick distress ink around the page.

#115 Vampire Territory LO (40:31 Creations Challenge)

I made this  LO for Lauren's Halloween challenge at 40:31 Creations, this is my first time submitting a challenge at her blog....hopefully I win the awesome candy LOL!  So the first thing I did was look through my paper pile and I found this patterened paper with a haunted house and a moon design. I made this LO look like the Vampire's live there and that's why I called it "Vampire Territory".....I've been watching too much True Blood and Twighlight LOL! The word Vampire is from Mini Monster's, Territory is from Lyrical Letters, the daddy vamp and baby vamp are from Paper doll Dress up, the bats and the drippy goo are from the new October 31st cartridge. I know everyone's going to being asking how did I do that so here it goes.... The drippy goo is actually a cut that says "Velcome" it is a diamond shaped sign with drippy goo on top and botttom of it, so I used my Gypsy to weld 2 together and I scooted them both all the way up on my mat screen so it only left about 2 1/2 inches showing, but the originial size says 6 inches. The small blood droplets are from A child's year, they are rain drops and I hid the slit with my Gypsy. I hope I didn't confuse you too much, if I get enough request I will post a photo tutorial and the drippy goo.
Continuing... the "eek" sign and the "I want candy...Blood" are from the DCVW stack and I just cut out the little squares. Notice the bick of my son licking his lips that's why I crossed out the "candy" part and wrote "blood". I just couldn't stop laughing while making this layout I was evening talking in Vampire language to son while making it. I hope you like it, my husband loved it so much because I made it scary just for him and my son Aidan. This was Halloween 2008 and my son just learned how to walk a few days before Halloween perfect for Trick or Treating!

#113 Gingerbread man Card (Throwback Thursday)

For this weeks Throwback Thursday at My Creative Time For Me we had to use Paper Doll Dress up and frame it. I cut the envelope, liner, card, sentiment, and scallop circle all from Wild Card. I used my Gypsy to see exactly what size I needed to cut the little cookie man! I added green stickles to "Season's Greetings" and drew on the icing and candy on the gingerbread man. I cuttlebugged  the scallop circle then distressed it. For the envelope and gingerbread man I cut them on Kraft paper and then looked through my stash and found the perfect gingerbread man paper. Wow everything was really working out here, to top it off this card and envelope only took me about 15 to 20 minutes, I think I'm getting hooked on Wild Card I like making fast and easy cards but I like taking a long time for my layouts since I have so many pics piled up...go figure!

#76 Genie Lamp bday card (For BBTB2 Challenge)

For this weeksBitten By The Bug 2 Challenge  they decided to do a project with the genie lamp from PDDU I sanded the cardstock first then I embossed with my cuttlebug and added some stickles to it. The sentiment is from Sweet Treats and the heart border punch is from Martha Stewart. I used the negative tiny hearts and put it over the "i" and on top of the swirl. The swirl is also a negative from a sun fron Gypsy Wanderings (for another project I will be posting) I also distressed with my Frayed Burlap ink and I used all scraps for this card...Yay me!

#70 Posh nail polish gift bag (Throwback Thursday Challenge)

For this weeks challenge we had to use PDDU I cut the monster girl and tiara from PDDU and the purse is from FY. I ran the monster and her tiara in my xyron and then put Martha Stewart glitter on it. For the "posh" I put glue then glitter. On both sides of the purse I put 3 glue dots then more glitter. I was trying to figure out what to put in here and I realized that 3 bottles of nail polish fit!!! Very exciting, I think I discovered a new gift to give to people. I used my Gypsy and cut the image to fit a 12x12 paper, it only needed about 12x6 or so. Perfect! Check out Emma's blog at Throwback Thursday

#46 Pineapple 5 Cents Layout

For this LO I embossed the yellow paper with CB then distress it with Walnut Stain. I cut the pineapple twice then cut the green part off and glued it on the yellow. I ran both pieces of the pineapple in my xyron sticker machine then poured Martha Stewart glitter all over it. I hand cut the black shadow for the pineapple. I cut the 5 cent stamp from Sentimentals. The title is from OA. The patterned paper is from the SWEET stack from DCWV. I added 5 prima flowers and added black rhinestones.
