#167 Pinkalicious Birthday Blog Hop

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Pinkalicious Birthday Blog Hop hosted by Melissa @ Adventures in heels if you just arrived here from Kathlee's Blog then you are in the right spot! This hop is all about the colors pink, black and white and also Melissa's birthday!! Happy Birthday Melissa!!!

For my card I used my Lovely Floral Cricut LITE cart for the black scallop circle, I stamped the sentiment with My Creative Time stamps, then placed in my Cuttlebug with a Tim Holtz embossing folder. I also made this beautiful pink flower with the Songbird Cricut cart, I think that's a great cart because there's so many different flowers on it. This flower had the letter "q" in it and I hid the letter with my Gyspy and cut it out in 3 different sizes and sprayed with Glimmer Mist, added a brad to the center and crumbled it to get this result.  The final size of the flower is about 3x3 inches.

#64 Mother's Day Card

Happy TGIF!!! Here's a Mother's Day card I made using the Songbird cartridge, it seems like that cart isn't very popular but I love it because there's so many great flowers on there. I cut the flowers in 3 colors and 3 sizes. I added a button to the center and some embroidery floss, and bling. I stamped the sentiment with My Creative Time stamps, I stamped the frame with a Halloween stamp!

#21 Love SEI challenge w/ Abby

Happy Monday everyone! I can not believe how fast this month is flying by pretty soon it's going to be V-Day, then Summer then we will all be making Christmas cards again LOL! Here is a card that I made for the SEI challenge at Abby's Blog. Since I am going to be her Guest Designer for her challenges she will have a bi-weekly challenge with some awesome SEI papers for prizes!  The theme she chose this week is "Love". all of the papers are from SEI "With All My Heart" collection. The tag embellishment is also from SEI I just stamped the sentiment with Studio G stamps from M's. I cut the cute little bird from Songbird.....I think Songbird is a really cute cart BTW, there's a lot of fonts, birds, birdhouses, and flowers. I think sometimes I judge carts by the back covers and forget that I can do so many more things on each cart with my Gypsy! I used a MS punch for the heart border and some twine, and red lace ribbon. #20 Dog Walk Layout

Hello everyone I hope you all are having a great weekend! I am because I am motivated to get some layouts done finally since I am falling way behind lol! Here's a layout I made about me and my Pomeranian dog Blackie. He was my first baby lol! His 6th b-day is coming up on Feb. 3rd I just can't believe I've had him in my life almost 6 years. These photos were taken in 2005. Blackie would always look at me like he was telling me he wanted to go for a walk. We are so perfect together because we read eachother's mind lol! He is just too funny he acts like a stuck up dog and prances around all day like he is a model or something. He really knows how to make my hubby mad hahaha!

The other night at Michael's they had all of these American Craft's paper stacks on clearance for $6.99 so I used my new paper for this LO. Here's a list of the carts I used:

I used my EK paw print border punch for the border, I added some pearls and eyelets to the circle parts of the paper, also added brads and did some inking to the flowers. I finally got the Exclusive Cricut LITE Playtime cartridge on ebay earlier this week and I was so excited because I think I got it at a very reasonable price, and I stamped her face with PKS. I stamped the bone with Pink By Design stamps. I've decided that I will start taking pics of my journaling areas so you guys can get ideas on what to say when you do your journaling on your LO's. For the longest time I would never do journaling, but I just kept thinking about how my kids, grand kids, and great grandkids will appreciate the journaling. I know I don't have the nicest handwriting, but hey I get too lazy to go type it up on the computer and print it out lol!
