#248 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop Day 10/ Easy! Christmas Ornament

Hi everyone welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog HopDAY 10 hosted by Sylvia Bella Scrapbook Designs. If you are here from Sylvia's blog then you are in the right spot! This hop is all about making 12 different Christmas gifts 12 days in a row and the last day we will be posting is on December 6th.

I apologize for not posting the last 2 days, I have been very ill and pretty much in bed all day long :(  Luckily I am finally feeling much better and I will be posting Day 11's project later this evening thank you!

For today's gift I made something super fast that I think came out great! I made a Christmas ornament using the Serenade Solutions Cricut cartridge, the size is about 3x 4.5 inches, I cut it out on 3 layers of cereal box chipboard, and also for a 4th time I cut it out on gray cardstock. I placed the gray cardstock piece of the bird upside down in my Xyron sticker machine and poured Martha Stewart Christmas glitter all over it. I punched a small hole using my Crop a dile and tied a circle of embroidery floss through it to hang on the tree.

As soon as I was finished my son said he wanted to put it on our "Big" tree lol! No kidding it's 7 1/2 feet tall, and guess what I almost broke our tree while decorating it (don't ask LOL!) luckily my hubby was able to fix it, but I had to re-decorate the entire tree all over again because  of the way he fixed the tree all the "good" ornaments were facing the back. So it's like I decorate to huge tree's this year lol! Can you spot where I place my new ornament below??

BLOG CANDY!! In honor of me creating 12 projects 12 days in a row, I will be celebrating by giving away ONE $10 gift certificate to one of my favorite online stores...... PEACHY KEEN STAMPS!!! Hi everyone! Welcome to the color themed blog hop,30 on the 30th hosted by BRYNN. If you are here from SYLVIA's blog then you are in the right spot. This hop is all about the wonderful color combo pink, black, white and silver and we are also celebrating Brynn's 30th birthday which is today June 30th Happy Birthday Brynn!!!

For my card I stamped the background with the Vintage background stamp from Market Street stamps, the sentiment is from Kinderstampo stamps. The bird cage, bird and swirl were from the Serenade Cricut cart.

Here's a closeup of the bird cage and glitter. I sprayed the cage with Granite Glimmer Mist and added silver stickles to it. I Used my Zutter Distrezz it all to distress all of the edges of this card.

Here's the swirl and sentiment, I made a black paper rose with a small 1 inch flower punch and added silver stickles.

BLOG CANDY!!! I am giving away this brand new set of ribbon from Karen Foster Designs to one lucky follower, I will chose  a winner on Tuesday July 5th. Have fun hopping!

#88 Butterfly Tag

Hello everyone! I finally got some spare time to play with my new stamps by KinderStampO the stamps I used are called Grungy Inspiration. I have to say that the quality of these stamps are amazing! They are very thick with a clean, clear look....love my new stamps!

I bought the tag from Joann's in the stamping section they are from Ranger INK. First I cut the tag from Heritage and stamped the sentiment and cut the swirl and butterfly from Serenade. I made my very 1st pearl charm here, it's a start of a new beginning lol! I will have to post anothe tutorial on how to make your own charms it was very easy. I sprayed the enite tag with 4 different colors of Glimmer Mist and added Stickles to the swirl. I adhered my pear charm to the tag with a hot glue gun. For the edges I used my Broken China and Walnut Stain Distress inks.

#163 Sympathy Card

Hello everyone I feel like I need to get on the ball and start posting more of my pics they are really starting to pile up with my projects LOL I will try to be better I promise! I have been making a ton of cards because I am going to be giving away a box of handmade cards by me to friends and family as Christmas gifts, I really want an assortment of cards to be in each box. I will keep you guys posted on what I do as for a card holder. The cards vary in sizes from 5x5, 4x6, and 5x7 cards.
Here is a Sympathy card I really hope no one has to use it so I decided to make it look pretty and use my Serenade cartridge for the bird, I used Broken China distress ink and did some stamping and layered with 3 different sheets of patterend paper. I used my handy i-rock tool for the bird's eye and the center of the flower. I am posting this in a few challenges and here they are:

#141 My New Job As Mommy

Hello everyone!!! I'm so sorry that I haven't posted anything in a while I haven't been feeling very creative lately and I've been a couch potato all week long LOL! Well at least I am catching up on all my shows! I actually made this for the Fantabulous cricut challenge last week which was to make a job themed project but I never got around to posting it. I am also trying to use up some of my non-cricut supplies so I did part of the title with stickers and the rest I cut with Pooh Font and put silver Micro beads on it. The deer is from Give A Hoot I put white Martha Stewart glitter on it. I cut the butterflies from Serenade and put the gems on it with my i-rock. The scallop square is from Accent Essentials and I added 4 green metallic brads next to the picture. I added ribbon, metal accents (shown in the pic above) and cut a scallop border with my funky scissors. I drew a swirly line and did my journaling on it. I am entering this LO to the challenge this week at Paper Cutz their theme this week is to create a project with a critter on it, my critter is the momma deer!

#97 Thinking of you Owl card for (My Pink Stamper's Family)

Here's a card I made a while back ago for My Pink Stampers family who lost a loved one. The owl was cut from CAC, the tree branch and leaves are from Serenade. I stamped the background of clouds then added blue chalk. I also stamped the sentiment. I embossed with my Cuttlebug, using 3 different folders. The pink border strip is from a border punch and I added some ribbon. Oh and how can I forget the Peachy Keen critter face stamp!!
