#98 Pirate Blog Hop Card

Yohoho mateys and welcome to the Pirate Blog hop in honor of "Talk like a pirate day" today. Captain Lorby (http://lorbysworld.blogspot.com) is head of these here ships and the captain of this ship and ye would be starting ur hopping aboard by vessel. My mateys have worked hard getting their ships in tip top shape for this hop so ye
better stop by and see what they have done or someone along the way may make ye walk the plank. So grab ye eye patch and your best bottle of coffee, tea, or water and let's do some pirate hopping and talking.

Our Blog Candy for this event is a digital pirate stamp from Captain Lorby. To be in the drawing for the digital stamp, you must comment on ALL blogs and become a follower of Lorb's World.

You should have come from Lucy's Blog then you are in the right spot!

Ahoy matey, here is me project for this hop.

For my pirate card I made a shaped card using my ART PHILOSOPHY Cricut cartridge for the shape and the very cute Teddy Bear Parade Cartridge! These 2 carts go so good together since Art Philosophy has 100 card shapes... yes 100!! That's a whole lotta cards LOL! I have really been trying to stock up on my birthday cards since those are always the first to go. I stamped the sentiment "Walk the Plank" using Pink By Design stamps, and the inside says "It's Yarrrrr Birthday!" I thought this would be perfect for any little boy and I guess I was right because my son saw it and instantly thought it was his LOL! I embossed the white papers using a Tim Holtz woodgrain stamp and inked it up and crumbled the blue paper and also inked it up.

I thank ye for stopping by me ship and now ye is to journey on to  SYLVIA's
ship.

#59 Hollywood Scrapbook Page

Good afternoon! Here's a 2 page layout I made for our Hollywood photos I took last year from our little day trip. The cuts I used here are from Twinkle Toes, Formal Occasion and Lacy Labels Cricut cartridges.  I used PKS stamps on the faces, and Glossy accents on the limo's windows, and also red fuzzy flock on the "red carpet"!

If you are wondering where I got this fabulous title from I can proudly say........ I made it myself!!!! That's right! I downloaded a free font online called "Showtime" and just welded everything together in my Silhouette Studio and also cut a rectangle for the background. I love my Cameo! Ok I love my Cricut too LOL!

#8 (Video) Gamer's Layout

CLICK HERE for the Crafty Sprouts Blog Hop

Hi everyone I hope you are having a great Saturday so far! Here's how I spent my Friday night last night I made a scrapbook layout of my gorgeous hubby and my beautiful son. For those of you who don't know my hubby is currently on deployment right now until 2 weeks before I give birth in April! We miss him dearly, he is in a safe place actually here in the states, but still he is away from us and not at home it sucks!!!!

For my new year's resolution this year I promised myself to make more layouts and use up some of my crafty supplies and enter in more challenges, who knows hopefully I can win a prize (keeping my fingers crossed lol!).

This page was made to add to my 2010 album here's a pic I took of my son and my hubby playing a PS3 game, scrapbooking is my addiction and gaming is my hubby's addiction lol! All of the patterned papers I used are from the Generation Tech stack from DCWV along with the embellishment at the bottom.  The font is from the Feeling Groovy Cricut LITE cart, controller is from the Father's Day Cricut cart, and the marquee shape is from Cindy Loo Cricut Cartridge. Below you can see I added black buttons and some blue metallic clearance Christmas ribbon that I got over a year ago! I love it when I can use Christmas supplies for non-Christmas projects!

I am entering in a few challenges below:

Here's the awesome stamps I used from Crafty Sprouts, which are also on sale right now for $12.50 with FREE shipping, just in time for Christmas gifts!

I also stamped the back of the cards with the Happy Wishes barcode stamp.

You will have until midnight PST on August 1st to complete the hop, enjoy!

Welcome to my party!!! Here's a sign that I will be hanging on my front door I got the font from designer's Calendar, and sign with butterfies from Lacey Labels. It measures 6x12 inches.
Here's a banner I made for the living room, the shape and butterflies are from Storybook cart, and the font is from Lovely Floral.

Here you can see my black lace ribbon and I embossed with my Paisley and Swiss Dots folder in my Cuttlebug.

\
Ok now you are in my kitchen who's hungry!?! LOL! I made some pop up butterflies for my cabinet doors I cut them from Hannah Montana (Love that cart!)

Close up of the pretty butterfly!

Ok can you guess what these are for.....? I am going to decorate my own cake with paper butterflies! these are also from Hannah Montana!

#170 Christmas in July Guest Designer!!

Hi everyone! I am so excited to announce that I am a Guest Designer for the Christmas in July week hosted by Giselle and Nadia. Today they are featuring many talented Guest Designer's who made some very fabulous cards! Everyday they are going to post a new project and I will also be a guest designer this Saturday 7/23. They are giving away several prizes, to be eligible to win the prizes you must leave comments on all of the designer's posts over on Giselle's BLOG.

For my card I cut this sexy snow mama (LOL!) from Jolly Holiday's Cricut LITE and stamped her faces with Peachy Keen Stamps... Happy Lashes, and colored her mouth with burgundy, and red, carrot nose is an orange color they are all Bic markers. Since I am so girly and such a makeup addict no snow girl would be complete without her makeup lol! I gave her some pink blush and brown/gray eyeshadow isn't she so stylish!?! Diva Snow girl haha! I used 3 different bottles of Stickles for all of the glitter. For the snow on the bottom I ripped white paper to make it look like a pile of snow, stamped the sentiment with Scrappy Moms Xmas stamps, embossed the snow with my snowflake cuttlebug folder, and rubbed stickles all over with my fingers. The tiny snowflakes are from negative pieces from a snowflake border punch.

Be sure to check out everyone's cards today on Giselle's Blog

#168, #169 County Fair Layout, card and Winners!

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been posting as much over the last 2 weeks. I have been extremely busy and have been suffering with horrible back pain, it's so horrible that I haven't  even been crafting at all or going on the computer much.

Here's a layout I made all about the L.A. county Fair last summer with my son, we had a blast and it only cost $1 to get in!!  I made this layout for this weeks Summer challenge theme at PAPER PLAYTIME.

All of the cuts are from the Carousel Cricut LITE cart, the title is alphabet stickers and I added Prima flowers with brads in the center.

The Happy Summer stamp next to the corn dogs is from Pink By design stamps.

For my little seahorse card I made using the SEAHORSE from Digital Delights by Louby Loo for the design team, be sure to check out everyone's amazing projects HERE.

Now onto some Winner's!! Again, I apologize for this being so late, I will personally contact all of the winner's and get them mailed out ASAP! Or you can email me at critterbugg365@gmail.com with your address to claim your prize.

#167 Pinkalicious Birthday Blog Hop

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Pinkalicious Birthday Blog Hop hosted by Melissa @ Adventures in heels if you just arrived here from Kathlee's Blog then you are in the right spot! This hop is all about the colors pink, black and white and also Melissa's birthday!! Happy Birthday Melissa!!!

For my card I used my Lovely Floral Cricut LITE cart for the black scallop circle, I stamped the sentiment with My Creative Time stamps, then placed in my Cuttlebug with a Tim Holtz embossing folder. I also made this beautiful pink flower with the Songbird Cricut cart, I think that's a great cart because there's so many different flowers on it. This flower had the letter "q" in it and I hid the letter with my Gyspy and cut it out in 3 different sizes and sprayed with Glimmer Mist, added a brad to the center and crumbled it to get this result.  The final size of the flower is about 3x3 inches.
