#28 SVG Attic Wednesday 2 Page Layout

Good morning! It's SANDRA here and today is my day to post on the SVG Attic Blog and I made a 2 page layout featuring one of my favorite sets which is Erin's Scalloped Trims, I guess I love this set so much because it's a great alternative to border punches plus it's a major space saver LOL! These pictures were taken at the San Diego Zoo and I used a few cuts from my Paisley, Tags, Bags Boxes & More, and Life's A Party Cricut cartridges to create these layouts, I also added some bling on top of the borders from SVG Attic.

Here's the set I used from the SVG Attic store ERIN'S SCALLOPED TRIMS

#54 Happy Monkey Card

Hi everyone I made a happy monkey card for my best friend Melyssa and I am also entering in 2 challenges Jitterbuggin (Shape card) and Cricut Cartridge Chaos (Paisely). The card shape is from Wild Card and Monkey is from Paisley. I was so exited to finally cut this cute monkey out since I've own this cart since it first came out over a year ago. I stamped the face with PKS and stamped the sentiment with Emma's stamps. I did some faux stitching and added Stickles to the lollipop and a ribbon bow to the lollipop.

Please be sure to mark your calendars for this Saturday's Hello Cupcake Blog Hop!

#175 My Hippie card for DT Day at Inking it Up Crazy

Here's my embossing, inking and stickles work!
Hello everyone!! I just wanted to share with  you my Hippie inspired free love card LOL! I normally don't make stuff like this, I have really been wanted to do a mushroom card but I never knew what sentiment to put on it.....hello!! "Thanks" of course! I guess the light bulb finally went on in my head LOL!The mushrooms were cut from Freshly Picked I embossed with my cuttlebug, inked the edges and put a pop dot under the small shroom. The frogs and snail were from Paisley I chose to cut them out without all of the layers and I doodled on the snail and stamped with a PK stamp, I also put stickles on the frogs crowon on top left. The clouds and the circle/ring are from Paper Pups. For the clouds I stamped some of them and put Distress ink on some of them. I stamped the sentiment I thought it was perfect because there are "Many" frogs on my card. I also put Fired Brick (red) Distress ink on the outer edges. This card really reminded me of when I used to go to Haight and Ashbury (random pic online) when I lived in the San Francisco Bay area, yep the whole town looked like this! Please be sure to come and check out the other designers at Inking it Up Crazy.

#85 Creepy and Cool LO

For this LO I challenged myself to use a lot of non-Cricut products since those products are piling up in my scrapbook room. I couldn't resist and I just had to use my Cricut! The gator is from EDPD I found the perfect embossing plate for my gator it was actaully a Fiskars plate. The title "Creepy" is from Blackletter, "and" is from ACY and "cool" is from Paisley, I added stickles and chalk ink to these. The large pink marquee for the background was from TTK. I did some stamping with a border stamp, I placed two flower stickers on my page, one I put on top of the red silk flower, and the pink frame around the gator is from K&Company. So for the pictures in this LO I did some major zooming in on my camera to capture all the detail in these "Creepy and Cool" animals, the green frogs blend in with the leaves, the tan frogs looked like raw chicken gross! And look at those sharp teeth on that monster!

#73 California Dreamin frame (Challenge 5 w/ Joanna)

Here's how the frame looks laying down, also you can see where I painted the inside and outside with black acrylic paint.

The challenge of the week! Pink glittery sunglasses with blue diamonds from Paisley.

This is what the frame looks like when it's standing on the leg attached to the frame.

A close up of the the title, butterfly and palm tree.

For my 5th challenge with my sister  Joanna I chose to make the sunglasses from Paisley. I had so many ideas of what I wanted to do so I finally decided to make a frame. I bought the frame from Michael's. I cut each object 4 times including once on chipboard, the sunglasses are from Paisley, title is from LAB and the butterfly is from a Martha Stewart punch. I put everything in my xyron sticker machine then sprinkled with Martha Stewart glitter. I painted the inside and outside of the frame with black acrylic paint. For the glasses I put glossy accents on the black part to make it look like real shades! I put 3 blue diamonds on each sides of the glasses.

#53 Mexican Fiesta LO (3rd Challenge w/Joanna)

This was the 3 rd challenge with my sister Joanna  http://scrap-making.blogspot.com/  This time I choose, I choose this dress from Paisley I thought it was so cute and I was going to do something completely different with this cut. I wanted to make a paper doll with this dress but I didn't think it looked right so I did this instead. I'm pretty happy with the outcome. I CB'd the dress and did some distressing and added gold and green stickles to it since I didn't feel like cutting a shadow...yep I get lazy with my scrapbooking sometimes! I stickled the yellow Prima flower on the left side.  "Party Time" is from Stamping I also added gold stickles to the entire outline. The border flag thing on the bottom is from Give a Hoot, I added some red bling to the tops of the flags. "Fiesta" was cut from SB on white paper I drew the outline with a red pen and colored the inside with a yellow marker. The red patterened paper is from the Citrus stack from Joann's. I  added a strip of red lace ribbon to the middle and used my corner punch for the fiesta flyer that I got when I bought my ticket to this show.
