#62 I Love Groovy Times!

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you all are having a good weekend so far, here is a card I made a few days ago with my new favorite cartridge GROOVY TIMES!! I love that cart and I think I may love it even more then the Nifty Fifties cart woo-hoo!!

I had a special request to make some cards to sell since I do not have an etsy account just yet, I have really been thinking abou opening one  lately. Anways, this fabulous car which I think might be a '68 or '69 Camaro (which has always been a dream car of mine since high school !) is from Groovy Times, the frame is from Fabulous Finds, and I stamped the sent. from a Stampendous stamp set from M's and added 4 metallic brads to the corners.

#199 Peek-a-Boo Layout and a Blog Hop!

***Please come check out the current WINTER FROLIC challenge at http://www.flauntitfridays.blogspot.com/ TODAY is the last DAY!***

Hi ladies I am so sorry I have been posting as much as I used to right after I opened my New challenge blog Flaunt It Friday's I jumped right into planning a Gingerbread Cookie party here at my house and it's tomorrow....on top of that I decided to do an extreme makeover and paint my LARGE living room and get furniture wow what was I thinking!?! LOL!

Here's a dog layout that I did a couple weeks ago that I haven't got around to posting it's a layout of one of my dogs Littlefoot AKA Boots! He wouldn't really come when we would call him Littlefoot and one day my hubby just started calling him Boots and it kinda stuck plus he comes right away go figure! I guess he didn't like the name Litlefoot ha ha!

I love the way this page came out because I wanted all of the little charms to look like dog tags and a dog collar so I think I accomplished that! All of the tags and dog collar are from Fabulous Finds and the font is from Opposite's Attract. For all of the tags I dressed them up wih brads, eyelets, stickles and bling. I stamped the little doggie in one of the tags, and I got all of the paper from the DCVW pet stack, for the font I did a little doodling and I also added a little corner punch on the corner of the pic.

I have some very exciting news! I will be in 3 blog hops this weekend one on Friday and 2 on Saturday. Please make sure you stop by and leave comments and all 3, they will all be open for comments until Sunday night. So that means you have 3 chances to win!! #178 Simple guy Card

Hi everyone Happy Friday!! Here's a simple guy card that I made to send to my husband I am really counting down the days until he comes home, so far we are half way there. I have never used my Nursery Rhymes cart for the images, just the font. So last night I decided to finally break it in and I love the outcome! I am also entering into the Crafty Creations challenge which is Fairy Tales! Yep it is truly a fairy tale story of how me and me hubby met, it was love at first sight! We met Feb. 2nd, 2003 and got married 1 year later. I married my love when I was only 20 years old and we are still madly in love! Just like the fairy tale the dish ran away with the spoon I am the dish LOL! I stamped the faces with PK stamps, cut the tag from Fabulous Finds and stamped the sentiment, added brads and ribbon. It is really hard for me not to go all out on my cards, I thought this card was really plain and simple, but then I remembered it is a guy card! They don't want glitter and bling LOL! Take care and have a great day!

#149 Horse b-day card

I made this card for my son's 3rd b-day which was yesterday Oct. 2nd, aka National Card Making day!! I never knew that LOL! He's really into horses right now everything from horse toys, horses on tv, and also seeing the horses in my neighborhood. The horse, fence and bird are all one button feature cut on the country life Cart. I stamped the sentiment on a tag from Fabulous Finds and pierced holes and did some stitching with embroidery floss.  I think I am going to start stitching more on my projects this was only my second time doing it I really feel like I accomplished something once I was done with this card! Oh yeah I forgot...I tied a knot with the twine and put it through the holes on the tag.

#71 Father's Day family card

I cut the tags from PS, the family from GP and the oval tag for title from FF. This was a very quick and easy card I colored in the baby's diaper with a white gel pen and used Fired Brick distress ink around the tags, then put a strip of red floss across the bottom.

#24 Dream boat Layout

I made this layout for my mom's scrapbook. These pics were taking when they came to visit me in SF. we had a blast. It was hilarious watching their hair blow everywhere and seeing them get cold. Keep in mind this pic was in July. A hot day in So Cal, cold day in SF!

#2 Fun Fold Baby Album

For this fun mini album I cut the base in blackout with blue paper, then with baby patterned paper in regular mode from the Fabulous Finds cartridge. I've been wanting to do something fun with this cartridge especially since I got it on ebay for $17 bucks! I tried to use up a lot of my unused, forgotten stickers. I also used the New Arrival cartridge for the crawling baby, booties and the "It's a Boy". I cut a cereal box to make the chipboard baby booties!
