#242 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop DAY 4 Mickey Christmas Frame

Hi everyone welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog HopDAY 4 hosted by Sylvia Bella Scrapbook Designs. If you are here from Sylvia's blog then you are in the right spot!  This hop is all about making 12 different Christmas gifts 12 days in a row and the last day we will be posting is on December 6th.

For today's Christmas gift I made a cute Mickey Mouse Christmas frame to give to my sister Patty, she loves Disney as much as I do! I plan on surprising her and giving this frame to her with a picture already printed out of her and her son at Disneyland during Christmas time!

I got this blank frame at Michael's for $1, and got Mickey from the Mickey and Friends Cricut cartridge, the Santa hat is from the Pooh and Friends Cricut cartridge. ( Can I just say that I am totally loving my E2, it cuts so much better than my original Expression, with my old Cricut I wouldn't even attempt to make a Disney cut this small because I knew it would tear my paper even after playing around with the settings and blade.)

I added pop dots under Mickey and added red rick-rack ribbon to the top and placed 2 white buttons on top, and made my own chipboard shape using a sticker and 3 layers of cereal box chipboard for the sentiment.

Here's a close up of the clean lines on Mickey using my new E2! I also found the perfect green paint to match the paper.

Hi everyone welcome to the Back to school/Fall Blog Hop hosted by Sylvia from http://www.bellascrapbookdesigns.blogspot.com/ if you are here from Sylvia's blog you are in the right spot!!

Yay I'm so excited I reached 200 projects today this year on my blog....only 165 to go to reach my goal of making 365 projects in 365 days!!!

Since we were allowed to make a Fall project I decided to whip out my Pooh and Friends Cricut cartridge since I knew there were a lot of Fall images on that cart.  The leaves, wheel barrel, and Tigger are all from Pooh and Friends. I used my brand new Fall border punch from Fiskars that I purchased at Joann's I think it is so cute with those little scallop shapes! the sentiment says "Hippity Hoppity Happy"!

Below is a close up of Tigger I added pop dots under him!

Blog Candy!! I am giving away one Crafty Sprouts "Are you ready to rock" stamp sets to one lucky follower! Just make sure to leave me a comment on my post #193 I will announce the winner on Monday Sept. 12th!!

#117 Cutie Patootie Baby bee's page

I love the way my homemade embellishment turned out. It started with a 12x12 K&Co. paper, corner punched it, stamped the sentiment, dragonfly, added a Pima flower and a bee embellishment and 3 pieces of bling.
I'm finally trying to finish completing my son's baby album, I feel motivated! The bees are from Pooh and Friends aren't they the cutest bees ever!?!  I did a lot of stamping here I stamped "Patootie" the swirly's, the sentiment shown at the bottom and the small dragonfly. For the corners of the page I used some baby sayings rub-ons and the "Cutie" title are cameo style Martha Stewart stickers.

#103 Zoo (Paper Playtime)

This week's challenge is to create anything Zoo themed for Paper Playtime, we were sponsored by the wonderful Digital Delights by Louby Loo; they are so kind to be offering this free digi by clicking here. For the image I colored the yellow and pink parts with marker, and everything else with chalk, I added gold stickles to the lions mane and tail. I cut the party hat from the Pooh and friends cart and tied a little blue bowtie for the lion.  I added blue stickles to the party hat and my Fiskars punch for the red border and also added a small blue strip of ribbon on the top. I stamped the sentiment, then embossed with green metallic powder for a final touch I added a pop dot to the back of the hat.
