#251-254 Crafty Sprouts Blog Hop/ Kitty Stationary Set

(Scroll down for the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop)

Hi everyone!! Welcome to the Crafty Sprouts Blog Hop!! We the DT thought it would be fun to have a hop showcasing Crafty Sprouts Stamps and we will be giving away our projects how neat is that! If you are here from the awesome Raven Love 4 Stamps then you are in the right spot!!

(You can also click on the pics to zoom in)

For my project I wanted to challenge myself to use a cart that I have NEVER used before since I have about 5-10 that are untouched :(  The cart I used was the Meow Cricut LITE for all of these cut kitty's, the shaped cards, background circles, and all envelopes are from the Wild Card Cricut cartridge. I cut all of the cards and envelopes at 4x4 inches. I stamped all of the faces with Peachy Keen Cute and Cuddly Faces and also Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed Faces, of course I had to give them all blush and eyeshadow lol!!

Here's the awesome stamps I used from Crafty Sprouts, which are also on sale right now for $12.50 with FREE shipping, just in time for Christmas gifts!

I also stamped the back of the cards with the Happy Wishes barcode stamp.

I adhered all of the envelopes with my ATG gun, and stamped the flowers pink with a Cloud 9 stamp from Joann's. I added an adhesive tab on every envelope that way it's ready to go!

I also stamped the To/From using Crafty Sprouts HAVE A COOL YULE stamp set.

BLOG CANDY!!!!  I will be giving away this entire Kitty Stationary set  (which can be for yourself or to give as a gift to a loved one!) to one lucky follower, just leave a comment telling me which Crafty Sprouts stamp set is your favorite (I will be giving a set a away on my next blog hop coming up!) you can view all the stamps HERE! I will announce a random winner on Monday 12/12

Hi everyone I made a happy monkey card for my best friend Melyssa and I am also entering in 2 challenges Jitterbuggin (Shape card) and Cricut Cartridge Chaos (Paisely). The card shape is from Wild Card and Monkey is from Paisley. I was so exited to finally cut this cute monkey out since I've own this cart since it first came out over a year ago. I stamped the face with PKS and stamped the sentiment with Emma's stamps. I did some faux stitching and added Stickles to the lollipop and a ribbon bow to the lollipop.

Please be sure to mark your calendars for this Saturday's Hello Cupcake Blog Hop!

#20 Dog Walk Layout

Hello everyone I hope you all are having a great weekend! I am because I am motivated to get some layouts done finally since I am falling way behind lol! Here's a layout I made about me and my Pomeranian dog Blackie. He was my first baby lol! His 6th b-day is coming up on Feb. 3rd I just can't believe I've had him in my life almost 6 years. These photos were taken in 2005. Blackie would always look at me like he was telling me he wanted to go for a walk. We are so perfect together because we read eachother's mind lol! He is just too funny he acts like a stuck up dog and prances around all day like he is a model or something. He really knows how to make my hubby mad hahaha!

The other night at Michael's they had all of these American Craft's paper stacks on clearance for $6.99 so I used my new paper for this LO. Here's a list of the carts I used:
Boys Will Be Boys- Walk
Slumber Party LITE- please
Wild Card- Green Frame
Songbird-Flowers
Playtime LITE-Girl w/dog
Paper Pups-Dog Tail, Bone

I used my EK paw print border punch for the border, I added some pearls and eyelets to the circle parts of the paper, also added brads and did some inking to the flowers. I finally got the Exclusive Cricut LITE Playtime cartridge on ebay earlier this week and I was so excited because I think I got it at a very reasonable price, and I stamped her face with PKS. I stamped the bone with Pink By Design stamps. I've decided that I will start taking pics of my journaling areas so you guys can get ideas on what to say when you do your journaling on your LO's. For the longest time I would never do journaling, but I just kept thinking about how my kids, grand kids, and great grandkids will appreciate the journaling. I know I don't have the nicest handwriting, but hey I get too lazy to go type it up on the computer and print it out lol!

#127 Birthday Blinged Out Forest Tree gift card holder

Attached the gift card to the back of the blue paper.
I am going to write on the blue paper next to the tree.

This week my sweet dear friend Stephanie and her friend Nicole at  Always Craftinghaving a challenge to use bling, buttons and/or brads....I chose bling!! Yay I used my i-rock to put bling in the tree and also 2 purple blings under the cloud and added a pop dot. I stamped the tree in green and cut it out and stamped the black tree and the sentiment. The scallop rectangle and pink bird are from Wild Card, the cloud is from Give a Hoot which is really a flower layer. To make this card it was easy I just folded my 8.5x11 inch in half and cut it to be 5 inches so it is 4 1/4 x 5 to make the opening I used my circle border punch but only cut less than half. I glued the 2 sides down and only glued half of the top, so that the gift card holder will fit.  The blue paper was cut at 4 1/4x 4 then I punched with my corner punch. I am going to write on the side where I stamped the tree and I adhered the gift card to the back of the blue card. I am also submitting this Cricut cardz because their theme is to use a scallop shape I chose rectangle! I also submitted to wee memories for their forest theme this week.

#116 Cupcake card and envelope Plus Great news I won Top 3, plus some blog awards!!

In honor of me winning some cupcake awards I made this cupcake card, liner and envelope from Wild Card, the scallop square and cupcake are from ACY.  To mae the cupcake glittery I put it in my Xyron sticker machine then put pink Martha Stewart glitter on top it sticks perfectly, no glitter crumbs LOL, then I put a red button on top of the cupcake, I stamped the sentiment then embossed with clear embossing powder. So the great new is that my Purse Birthday Card won top 3 for Party Time Tuesday's, also I've gotten a few awards over the last month but haven't posted them since I sometimes have trouble designing this blog, I hope I didn't offened anyone by not posting it right way.  Thanks to my husband he finally showed me how to post stuff on my sidebar LOL!

#113 Gingerbread man Card (Throwback Thursday)

For this weeks Throwback Thursday at My Creative Time For Me we had to use Paper Doll Dress up and frame it. I cut the envelope, liner, card, sentiment, and scallop circle all from Wild Card. I used my Gypsy to see exactly what size I needed to cut the little cookie man! I added green stickles to "Season's Greetings" and drew on the icing and candy on the gingerbread man. I cuttlebugged  the scallop circle then distressed it. For the envelope and gingerbread man I cut them on Kraft paper and then looked through my stash and found the perfect gingerbread man paper. Wow everything was really working out here, to top it off this card and envelope only took me about 15 to 20 minutes, I think I'm getting hooked on Wild Card I like making fast and easy cards but I like taking a long time for my layouts since I have so many pics piled up...go figure!

#66 Sea Lions LO

I did this Lo about a Sea Lion show that I saw that was very funny. In the pics the man is hugging and dancing with the sea lions! The large journaling tag and zig zag border strip are from ST, sea lion CAC, title is GF, and the large rectangle frame is a frame from WC.  I cut the seal with brown and tan paper and added distress ink to alter the color. I added orange stickles to the zig zag border and randomly misted glimmer mist.

#61 Husband's B-day card ADULTS ONLY LOL!

Inside of card.

Outside of card. OOps didn't take pic till after  the party, kinda dirty.

Envelope and liner.

The main reason I bought TTK was for that corset I had it all planned out, I know I'm a dork LOL! Birthday Boy is from SB the card, card frame, envelop and Liner are all from WC I think it was the wedding invite cut. I stamped the sentiment, stickled the corset and sprayed glimmer mist all over the card. I felt it was too plain but it is a challenge making manly cards, he loved it so much and he was showing it off to all his friends at his party LOL I'm glad he liked it.

#49 Baby's 1st Boat Ride

For this LO I cut the blue frame from Wild Card, boat from GW, and font from AMU. I did some distressing all over the page and stamped a black swirl  by the boat to look like water. I then colored in the stamped image with a blue marker and used some blue stickles over the stamped image. I also did the same thing to the compass by the title. I got a piece of school paper for journaling. For the final touch I sprayed some glimmer mist all over the LO. When I did this I was thinking of a pirates map for inspiration LOL!
