#37 Heart Table Centerpiece

I made this Heart Table Centerpiece for the Paper Playtime Design Team 1. Our theme is Cupid or Hearts, I was super excited because my friend Janis let me choose the challenges for the month of Feb. Thanks Janis!! The hearts are from the Seasonal Cart. LOVESTRUCK 2010. It would not stand on its owm so I punched a 3in. circle with a punch I cut and glued to red cardstock and also a cereal box to make a sturdy base. Then I adhered the heart with a Hot glue gun. Hello everyone welcome to The Love At First Sight Blog Hop hosted by me! This is my first time hosting a hop all by myself I feel all grown up now LOL! I had the idea for the hop to celebrate a few things... first of all I would like to celebrate the anniversary of the date my hubby Ricky and I first met on February 2, 2003 it really was Love At First Sight! Really!! I knew I wanted to be with him forever from the moment I saw him, and he felt the same way about me too! So 1 year later we got married, we got married on Febraury 28th, 2004 in Viva Las Vegas woo-hoo!! Yep a lot of people thought we weren't going to last since we were young and since we got married in Vegas, boy did we prove them wrong! This hop is very special to me because my hubby just got back from Iraq last week and he was gone for a total of 5 long months so I said we are going to celebrate every single holiday since he missed out on the big holidays over the last months. We are also celebrating Valentine's Day. So I asked all of these wonderful talented ladies to join me in my triple celebration in this Lovely Love Month Of Febraury by making a Love-Themed gift for someone we love.  Some of us will be sharing pictures of us with the person we are creating the gifts for. Here is one of Ricky and I at the Marine Corps. Ball in '05. I love this picture it came out better then the photographers picture!

Here are the projects I made for my hubby (well except for one it's kind of girly LOL!)

Here's a picture frame I made with American Craft's paper, glossy modge podge, the owls and sentiment are from Hoot N Holler Cricut Lite. The faces are both from Peachy Keen Stamps, Critter Faces and Simple Simons. That's me and my honeybun!

This digi is from a brand new digi company called Kich N Bleus Design's. I colored it with Bic markers, stamped the sentiment with PKS and the talk bubble is from Gyspy Wandering. Thank you Kich N Bleus (Abby & Kich) for sponsoring this digi for my hop!

This digi is from Digital Delights by Louby Loo she is called Polly Pippin In Love the sentiment is also from DDLL. I colored her with Prismacolor pencils, and embossed with my Cuttlebug. Thank you to Digital Delights by Louby Loo for sponosring this digi!

# 33 Love Is In The Air Blog Hop

Welcome to my Blog and the Love Is In The Air Blog Hop! If you've come from visiting Molly ARMY WIFE LEARNS THE CRICUT, you're in the right place. For my project I made a bouqet of roses from the Forever Young Cricut cartridge. I used all Valentine's Day themed paper from K & Co. Each rose has 3 different layers of flowers to complete each rose. I find the best way to adhere them together is with a hot glue gun. The can is a recycled Pineapple can can yum yum! I adhered the paper on the can with my ATG adhesive and it sticks perfectly. I added lace on top and bottom and cut each bamboo skewer in half since they were too long. Then after I bunched them all together I tied some pink lace to hold them together. I have been wanting to make this project for so long I have been storing it in my head for over a year now LOL! I am glad I finally did the work because I love the way it came out!

I made some green hearts for leaves. The hearts are from Plantin Schoolbook.

# 32 Flaunt It Friday's Lips

Hi everyone we are having a brand new challenge this week at my other blog called FLAUNT IT FRIDAYS  and our challenge this week is to "Flaunt" the juicy lips from Indie Art. #30 Digital Delights by Louby Loo FEB New Releases
