#25, 26, 27, 28 Digi Monday At Paper Playtime

Hi everyone! Today is a start of a new Era LOL! Well sort of.... at Paper Playtime we the Queens will have Digi Monday on the last Monday of every month and the theme is always "Anything Goes". You do not have to use a Digi to participate in the challenge, but keep in mind we will have 5 Digi prizes, this is perfect especially if you have never experimented with them before. Under each card you will see my description.

I made this card for my hubby this is supposed to be him and our 3 year old son. My son loves this card...he already said "Aidan" and pointed at the baby, and "Papi" (AKA Daddy) to the dad it was so cute!! I colored this digi with Bic markers, cut the Marquee shape from Accent Essentials, embossed with 2 CB folders and added ribbon, and buttons. I used pop dots underneath the Digi. The Digi is Prairie Fairy

I am entering this card in the Stamp Challenges which is WINTER also entering in the Southern Girls Challenge which is DRY EMBOSSING. Mami Doodles Challenge THE MAGIC OF LOVE.

I love this card especially since it was a TOTAL cheater card!! Shhhh don't tell anyone.... can you tell where I cheated lol!?! I colored Little Red Riding Hood  with Bic Markers, stamped a flower on her napkin and added stickles, I put stickles on her bow, lips, and socks. I cheated because that paper had so much going on it had butterflies and flowers and I figured it didn't need anything else. After I colored her it took me maybe 2-3 MINUTES to put this card together NO JOKE!! The sentiment is from Pink By Design and I also added pearls. I had fun with this little blue bird he looks SO ready for Spring, well I know I am! I colored him with Bics, used some older DCVW Springtime paper and the green paper is from my scrap pile and I used my border punch, added pink velvet ribbon, a button and the sentiment and Bird are both from Doodle Pantry

Here's a very Naughty card I made for my hubby lol! I wanted this card to look masculine, the paper is from American Craft's and I used my MS punch for the border and added black ribbon along with some inking. I colored this "Naughty" girl with Bics also. The image and sentiment are both from Digi's With Attitude

#24 Celebrating Our Milestone's Blog Hop

Hello everyone welcome the the fabulous Celebrating Our Milestone's Blog Hop hosted by Yolie from JUST Yolie. If you are here from Gaby's blog Gaby Creates then you are in the right spot. If you just arrived here and would like to start from the beginning please head over to Yolie's Blog HERE. Yolie asked us all to make either a scrapbook layout or a mini album to Celebrate's Life's Milestone's. I was so super excited when she asked me to join in her hop because I knew I instantly that I wanted to make a house mini album for my home. I always dreamed of being a homeowner one day, I would even tell my friends my goals in High School and I would always say that I wanted to buy a house by the time I was 25 years old, well I did it and I was exactly 25!! I felt so accomplished and to this day I still can not believe that my hubby and I are homeowner's. We got so lucky when we found this house because it had everything we were looking for (including a Scrapbook room!) and this was our #1 choice house and the bank said "Yes" to our offer!

Since I was unable to get my picture's developed in time here is a photo of our dream home!

Okay now onto my Mini album.....(I bought the Mini Album chipboard base from a Scrapbook Expo so I do not know the brand of the Mini Album)

This Mini album took me 8 hours to complete I think the end result was way better than I ever imagined it to be I am very satisfied. Now I just need to add some pictures and journaling in it. Enjoy!

Prima flowers, brads and large black and white metal flower(making memories),  silver butterfly-jewlery from Michaels', black bling, black sequin ribbon, black lace, black Acrylic Paint on every single page in book. All papers are from Michael's K& CO.

The Photo mat comes out, I can do my journaling on the back of it. I added bling to the photo mat, but you can't really see it.

Right side, black Stickles, ric-rac, journaling "Dreams"tag, I plan on writing my future dreams, and plans for my house, for example my thoughts on my plans for my back yard I want a balcony, a pool, and a garden. The black flower  and brad is Making Memories, the white flower is a flower from the Wedding section at the Dollar store! 

I love this page! Especially the butterfly! I used a Tim Holtz fragment along with Crackle to make the Charm.

Hi everyone! Today is Design Team day at Digital Delights by Louby Loo I decided to make a get well/thinking of you type of card for a friend of mine who has been going through stuff right now. The very adorable skunk is called Ouch Lili and you can purchase her HERE, I also used the Skunk Sentiment Set also by Digital Delight's by Louby Loo.

#21 Love SEI challenge w/ Abby

Happy Monday everyone! I can not believe how fast this month is flying by pretty soon it's going to be V-Day, then Summer then we will all be making Christmas cards again LOL! Here is a card that I made for the SEI challenge at Abby's Blog. Since I am going to be her Guest Designer for her challenges she will have a bi-weekly challenge with some awesome SEI papers for prizes!  The theme she chose this week is "Love". all of the papers are from SEI "With All My Heart" collection. The tag embellishment is also from SEI I just stamped the sentiment with Studio G stamps from M's. I cut the cute little bird from Songbird.....I think Songbird is a really cute cart BTW, there's a lot of fonts, birds, birdhouses, and flowers. I think sometimes I judge carts by the back covers and forget that I can do so many more things on each cart with my Gypsy! I used a MS punch for the heart border and some twine, and red lace ribbon. #20 Dog Walk Layout

Hello everyone I hope you all are having a great weekend! I am because I am motivated to get some layouts done finally since I am falling way behind lol! Here's a layout I made about me and my Pomeranian dog Blackie. He was my first baby lol! His 6th b-day is coming up on Feb. 3rd I just can't believe I've had him in my life almost 6 years. These photos were taken in 2005. Blackie would always look at me like he was telling me he wanted to go for a walk. We are so perfect together because we read eachother's mind lol! He is just too funny he acts like a stuck up dog and prances around all day like he is a model or something. He really knows how to make my hubby mad hahaha!

The other night at Michael's they had all of these American Craft's paper stacks on clearance for $6.99 so I used my new paper for this LO. Here's a list of the carts I used:

I used my EK paw print border punch for the border, I added some pearls and eyelets to the circle parts of the paper, also added brads and did some inking to the flowers. I finally got the Exclusive Cricut LITE Playtime cartridge on ebay earlier this week and I was so excited because I think I got it at a very reasonable price, and I stamped her face with PKS. I stamped the bone with Pink By Design stamps. I've decided that I will start taking pics of my journaling areas so you guys can get ideas on what to say when you do your journaling on your LO's. For the longest time I would never do journaling, but I just kept thinking about how my kids, grand kids, and great grandkids will appreciate the journaling. I know I don't have the nicest handwriting, but hey I get too lazy to go type it up on the computer and print it out lol!

#19 Soul Mates Card for Flaunt It Friday's

Hello everyone thank you all for stopping by my blog over the weekend and during the week. Also, thank you all who entered our challenge at Flaunt It Friday's you all did a fabulous job!

For this week's challenge we are featuring the GIVE A HOOT cartridge and the cut is the Bear and Trash Can on page 61. This was a real challenge for me and it took 2 days to make this card. Sometimes you just gotta walk away and then everything comes naturally! The bear in can is from GAH and the dump truck is from Boys Will Be Boys. I embossed the truck with a Sizzix folder in my Cuttlebug. I stamped the sentiment since they are "Soul Mates" no really! They see eachother every Tuesday morning at 6:30 AM LOL! #18 Home Sweet Home Card for my Hubby

Hello everyone I made this card for my hubby's return from Iraq we are just counting down the days just 4 more days! It's been a LONG 5 months. I think he is going to love his card because I made this house look exactly like ours, same color combo I even put the placement of the door nob on the left side lol! The only different about this house is we only have 1 window on the bottom facing the street, but it's pretty close to my house lol!

The house is from the Handy Man Cricut LITE, I stamped the sentiment, and used a EK border punch on Kraft paper. I added blue ribbon on top with some MS Twine. For the house I did a little inking and chalk ink for the windows, and embossed the roof with a Fiskars plate in my Cuttlebug. I am entering in a few challenges:

Love the anteater! He's too cute! Okay, favorite birthday memory..so many to choose from. On my 8th birthday, I had a slumber party for my birthday and I got a "My Friend Jenny Doll." I loved her and nearly 30 years still have her along with all of her cool outfits. LOL!

Here is a very fun card that I made with my $10 Cricut Lite cartridge that I totally scored at Walmart! Yay!! I couldn't believe they price matched it I got lucky! I had this idea in my head for a while I knew I wanted to do some sort of light, match, or flame with this Christmas stamp set from Pink By Design. Once I got my hands on the Handy Man Lite cart I saw the flash light and a lightbulb popped in my head lol! I stamped the face with Peachy Keen stamps, and added stickles and the red ribbon is Christmas ribbon!

Digital Delights By Louby Loo- Celebrations

Hello everyone I am so excited to share with you my first Design Team project with Digital Delights by Louby Loo, we were asked to make a card with "Celebration's" in mind. I decided to make a birthday card with the very adorable Briley and Balloons and also the sentiment is Happy Birthday to a Little Lady. I colored her face and body parts with Martha Stewart colored pencils, and colored everything else with Bic markers. I embossed the background with my Cuttlebug and did some inking. I also cut the grass out seperately and used some pop dots for dimension, and also added some blue tinsel ribbon to the balloons. Hello everyone I can't believe this is my 3rd post today!! I am really trying to catch up on my 365 projects lol! Well especially before my hubby comes home from Iraq next week woo-hoo! I can't wait, it's been 5 very long months thankfully I have my wonderful friends and followers who have been keeping my mind off of stress! So thank you! This card is for all of you!! XOXO!!

#15 I'm a New Designer -Plus V-day Layout

Hello everyone I decided that I am going to try to get out of my card rut a little bit and focus more on making layouts and altered projects. I LOVE making cards but I feel like I am getting behind in my scrapbooking. So I've decided I am going to work on my "2010" scrapbook, so here is a layout for Valentine's Day 2010. I made this challenge for the Getting Cricky challenge which is to use a bird on your project. I also made this layout to enter the Imagination Monday Challenge at My Creative Time For Me which is Sweet/Valentine, and also My Pink Stamper use Pink.

 Since I do not own an Imagine I just used a lot of different papers from the new K & Co Valentine's Day Stack from M's. The title is from Simply Charmed, the birdies in the flower are from Lovely Floral LITE, the banner is from Carousel LITE, the butterflies and the heart border are from an MS punch. I also used an EK punch at the bottom. I used some pink tulle and attached some flowers on top over the staples. I did some inking and faux stitching on the photo mats.

Also I have some VERY GOOD NEWS!!! I have been chosen to be on the Digital Delights Design Team!! Woo-hoo!! I am so excited I have been holding it in all weekend long! I know my blog is mostly about Cricut, but I have to say that I've recently had a new love for Digi's and Digital Delights By Louby Loo just so happens to be my favorite Digi company! I made this card for the Paper Playtime design Team 1, our challenge is to make something with the word "Love" on it. I decided to make a card that says "Showered With Love" on it by Pink By Design. I orginally cut a bunch of hearts out and scattered them all over the card since it's raining Love lol! But for some reason it didn't look right to me, so I went with 2 hearts...one on the bottom with the sent. and one on the eumbrella. Th umbrella is from A Child's Year and the hearts are from Accent Essential. I inked around the edges with black chalk ink and added some red stickles to the umbrella heart. I am also entering my card into Emma's Throwback Thursday which is to use an older cart with a heart...I used ACY and AE.

Now onto my projects..... I decided to make a birthday card for Alex along with a birthday present which is a layout I made just for her special event today!

Isn't this the cutest funniest looking animal on the planet!?! I love him! I cut him from Birthday Bash and stamped the eyes with Peachy Keen Stamps. I hand cut the tag and stamped the Party Animal sentiment from Pink By Design Stamps. I added some stickles and some ribbon to the card. I also cut the actual card base from Birthday Bash  too.

Here is a layout I made for alex since I know us ladies will be taking plenty of pics at our Meet and Greet. I also used Birthday Bash for the 2 birds, title and banner. I used 2 different MS punches to create the borders and added some ribbon to the swirly border. I also did some embossing with my Cuttlebug, inking and i added stickles to the birds and banner and some bling "eye" to the bottom bird and put a larger blue piece of bling to the top birds hat. Oh and I also stamped the face with Peachy Keen Stamps.

Now onto some Blog Candy! #12 Skull Tag

Hello everyone today is Friday and time for an all new challenge at my new blog called Flaunt It Friday's and this week's challenge we are flaunting the Mini Monster's cart. The cut challenge is to make a NON-Halloween project using the skull on page 65. I cut my tag from Sweet Treat's and did some embossing with my Cuttlebug and stamped the sentiment with PInk By Design Stamps. I also did some inking with black chalk ink and added some silver Christmas ribbon...yep Christmas ribbon (it was only 29 cents at M's!!) For the skulls eyeballs I put some black metallic dots. Hello everyone here is a simple but sweet card I made for any occasion. I stamped the sentiment from Pink By Design Stamps and added a ribbon border along with a ribbon bow. The mushroom is from the Walmart Cricut Lite called Lovely Floral. #10 Clock card

Hi everyone here is a clock card I made for the Cricut Cardz challenge which is to make a New Year's card using a clock. I chose the clock from Nifty Fifties and stamped a Peachy  PKS Faceon it. I also did some embossing with my Cuttlebug ans stamped the sentiment with Pink By Design Stamps. I added some black embroidery floss along with some bling.

#9 Sexy Nurse card LOL!

Hi everyone I have some very exciting news to share with you....Abby from Scrapbookaholic By Abby has asked me to be a Designer on her SEI challenges. The challenges will be held bi-weekly with Blog candy sponsored by SEI! I am so trilled to join her on her creative journey. For this week's SEI challenge the theme is Smiles/and or laughter, well I chose both LOL! I cut the doll from Everyday Paper Dolls and cut her hair from Paper Doll Dress up it's actually my favorite hair from both of those carts and it's the Vampire Girls hair LOL! It kinda reminds me of my hair except I have brown hair. I stamped her face with PKS BABY FACES, the syringe, and giant band-aide are from Everyday Paper Dolls also. The tag where I stamped the perfect sentiment is from Gypsy Wanderings. I used the SEI With ALL MY HEART paper line for her shirt, and 2 background papers. On the white colored paper I stamped a pink swirly and inked the edges with pink chalk in and added some ribbon.
